I'm sure the inevitable versions of the box with Spectre will be coming out in February, so I imagine that they will either pull existing stock of this current version to actually put Spectre in the sets, or they will clearance the current sets ahead of that release. If they clearance the sets, then I'm sure the price will bottom out again sometime in the next month and a half.

This set is pretty gorgeous! I'm a big fan of compact packaging and easy to access plastic cases (vs book packaging).

My only issue is: you know those cardboard overlays they glue on the back of sets like these? Normally I'm not anal about those, and I'll throw them away, but this one actually has useful information on the back of it, listing every film's credits, date of release, etc. I'm tempted to keep it, although there's no real good place to put these things.

Thinking I'll try to sell the UV codes, which seems to be something people do with sets like these; I'll almost certainly never use them anyway.

I purchased th white standard collection in store last night from Best Buy and the disc for quantum of solace is pretty scratched up. They only had the one copy of the set so I'm not going to return it. I'm wondering though if there is a difference in the disc variants. Could someone tell me if this is the same disc that's in th set? The artwork is the same so I assume it is but I want to be sure. I've already purchased it either way but just wanted clarification if any of you know.

Wait, let me get this straight...you bought a version of the Bond box set DIFFERENT than the one that came out for Bond 50, and you still got a scratched disc? There is NO book design to blame this time?

Well well well. You, sir, MUST be lying, because I have over 1,000 blu rays with normal cases and NONE have come scratched!

The disc somehow came out of the holder and was sliding around in there. This seems common for cases that hold multiple discs, it's happened with a few other movies I've purchased but they usually aren't damaged. The disc is still watchable as I tested it out last night, but I prefer to have a pristine copy in my brand new set. Plus I was able to snag the disc only for $5.15 shipped. Just looking for confirmation that it's the exact same disc or not.

Oh, a loose disc. I hate those. The discs should be the same. I have not heard of any difference in the different box sets/single versions of Quantum.

Yeah, I assume it's the same. Luckily I didn't purchase one with different artwork because that would ruin the style of the set. Thanks

I believe it is the same disc, I don't see why it wouldn't be as it looks like the same disc that you would find in the single release.

It was too good of a deal to pass up, even though I had some of the individual movies. Ours arrived yesterday, and the book of Bond movie posters that comes with it is a nice addition. I am going to download some of the digital copies to my Galaxy Tab S2 to watch while on travel.

My Bond 50 set is at $60 on ebay with a whole day left to go up more. That plus selling my code means I got this new upgraded set for free. Actually might get paid a few bucks to switch by the end of it. Happy day.

Keep in mind you'll need an Internet connection to watch them, but that is cool, I'm sure it might hit $100 again before years end or by the release of Spectre

My Bond 50 set sold for $85 on Ebay (!), so that along with selling the digital code for $40 means I made $35 replacing it with the new collector's edition, plus I got the new bonus disc, booklet and disc tray packaging. Life is sweet.
