Milky blacks and the colors aren't as amazing as in "Dr. No".

What is the corrected image based on?
The Blu-ray has never looked that desaturated (referring to the BD.com screenshot) on my system.

I did the corrected one, the original is from blu-ray.com.

Right, I know you made the corrected image
Just asking if it's based on anything specific, or you just tweaked the image to what you think looks best. I do think the corrected image is infinitely nicer looking that the screenshot, but again, I don't recall the Goldfinger BD ever looking that color-drained.

Lowry restorations of that time period all have that slightly desaturated look to me eye. If it bothers you just crank up the color on your TV I guess, but I would be pretty hesitant to say that's more accurate to the original negative.

That could very well be, it's interesting because almost all Bond films look different.
Dr. No has vibrant colors, Goldfinger is more faded, On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a bit more purple and has overblown whites.

I am confused, on blu-ray.com it looks faded and on caps-a-holic.com the colors are very good and so are the blacks.

Okay, I just got the Black Box and I'm getting ready to redeem my digital code.

I just wanna make sure I understand how it works. I primarily use Vudu, so...

-If I redeem in Vudu, all the movies will be lumped together in one menu item that expands out into the 23 films, right?

-But if I redeem in Flixster, each movie will appear separately in Vudu (which is what i prefer), but I run the risk of not having Goldeneye be playable in Vudu?

-The slip that comes with it says redeem at foxredeem.com. What if I do that? Will that make the films appear separately in Vudu as well?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Default do not do it with Fox as mine failed

I would not redeem them on Fox as I did it on Sunday and the system gave me a fail code, only got 1 movie (A View To A Kill), I have so far sent 2 emails to Fox and have not heard anything back, I believe I got screwed and will not be getting the codes,

I will be sending another email soon.

I just redeemed my UK white collection code in flixster using a proxy. All 23 movies showed up in flixster, Vudu and UVVU.com. I was worried Goldeneye wouldn't appear in Vudu, but mine worked, to my surprise. I was prepared to have to fire off emails.

Hey guys/gals, I thought to just ask here a couple of questions figuring I do think it was a JB film. If not, my apologies and I'll ask elsewhere -

1) I don't recall anything from the film other than I think it starts with someone (I think it was JB but not sure) was held in captivity, perhaps in a jail (I keep thinking a wintry scene so perhaps not a prison) and looked like a caveman (long shaggy beard, dirty, probably suffering malnutrition, etc). That's it, and the only other thing I recall is not enjoying the film. For all I know, I may even own this film, lol.

2) If indeed it was a JB film, was it that bad and one of the worst of the series or is it worthwhile and give it another view?

Thanks. Sorry if not much to go on.

So I got the Ultimate James Bond Collection and now I'm not sure if I should put it in my collection under 0 for 007, B for Bond, or J for James Bond? The few I used to have, I had them under 007. What do the majority have it under?

A ton of people have said the white set does not have UV codes. I don't know what kind of confirmation you're looking for beyond that.

I watched some scenes on youtube and that's the one. I still don't recall the film at all other than not liking it. It must have sucked, lol.

If it had said no UV I'd never have blinked, but with the low price on Amazon.ca today I'd was looking for a single post specifically on that set to snuff that slight doubt to bed (and correct the database).
The "white" version is the same in Canada as the United States apart from the bilingual packaging.

Hey guys, I've been seeing the black set on eBay at pretty cheap prices ($80 - $90) but without the digital codes. Are these bootlegs or legitimate copies? These prices seem too good to be true...
