I try to keep them in chronological order, but I've never been very successful at that. I know some guys that have put all of their Greatest Hits compilations together.

But back to Blu (and I won't mention the vinyl topic again). How would you file the Soundstage Concert BD's? Under "S" for soundstage or by artists? Or do you keep them seperate and apart as in genre of BD?

John
I would do seperate in alphabetical order ! ~ Did you do the albums yet !!!!!!!!!!

Exactly how I have always done mine, numerical than alphabetical makes the best sense. Just cause the series has different names doesn't mean you will forget what it's called and not be able to locate it lol, it's exactly like a video store but there just break it up by genre as well.

Default How do you organize your collection

How do you organize your collection do you put all blu-ray's together and seperate some series or movies or put them in order with the movie series or tv series? I put all my blu-ray's together but might start seperating based on series soon.

not to sound like a d*ck but there are a few threads about this:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...=organize+blus

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...=organize+blus

they just havent been posted in in a while
thats probably why you didn't see them when you searched (which i assume you did)

its all good though

edit: i sort by favoritism by the way with dvds all to the left and bds to the right

I don't really sort them, but I put the ones with the Blu-ray logo on the spine together for some reason.

Alphabetical but then if a sequel to a movie is different, i put it behind it's prequel (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight).

I keep all of my Blu-Rays on their own bookcase. I have them in order of when I bought them, but with my collection growing, I will be switching to alphabetical. I keep my DVD's somewhere else.

I throw the blu-rays and the standard dvd's together, but then organize according to A-Z, save for sequels. For example, The Dark Knight goes after Batman Begins. Also, with the case of the James Bond series, it goes under J. Then it organized into movies, music/standup comedy, and TV.
