I have my 4K discs mixed in with my blus. I kept blus separate from my DVDs, but that was because the difference in size of the cases. Since 4K discs and blurays have the same size cases I don’t mind having them all together.

I appreciate they’re not the level of BD or UHD, but then at the same time I appreciate they’re still a great format with too many great films still stuck there....and coming from the VHS era they still look good to me. Dog Soldiers is one that springs to mind. I won’t stop myself watching True Lies, Panic Room or any other dvd only favourite just cause my eyes have treated to top level quality.
I partly agree, but still, I'm somewhat in love with HDR, so...

I separate UHD/regular blu rays/DVDs, but still keep them in alphabetical order. See no problems with that - just three separate stacks, easy to find anyway.

But for me, I have UHDs like Avengers Infinity War, other Marvels like Black Panther but why wouldn’t I keep these with the other Marvels? I picked up Star Trek Beyond when it dropped to £8 but would look odd away from the first two. Same with SW VIII (is it?) and Solo away from other Star Wars. Rambo trilogy sitting nowhere near Rambo (4). Die Hard on its own?

Thing is my collection is organised so when I fancy watching Justice League for example, I’ll go to the super hero section and select the UHD which makes more sense then finding it amongst a load of UHDs unrelated, like having it sat between Peter Rabbit and Skyscraper. Each to there own of course.
Yea that's kind of what I'm going through except that way I can't remember what I have on 4K and what I don't...my 4K will be spread out all over the place...I'll get it figured out though. Thanks Blu Macready!

I love watching the mass of black cases slowly devours the much more bigger (for now) mass of blue cases. So, separately

Yea...have thought about that...another thing to consider...thanks!

Mixed together. I have my collection organized by release date with extra space on each shelf so new movies can be slotted in without having to shift things around every two months.

I separate my UHD, regular bluray, and Criterion collections. Within the UHDs I separate steels from standard and I just started alphabetizing. My Criterions I organize by color since they look nice, and I don't bother organizing my regular BDs since that collection is so small.

I mix horror 4K's into my horror collection because its the bulk and main force of my own movie collection.

The main UHD collection is kept separate and all together - it is the main family movie-collection accessible to all.

The regular (non-horror) blu-ray collection has long been demoted to the downstairs living room

When I move in February, I'll organize my shelf so all my 4Ks are separate, but for now, I couldn't care less. All of my 4Ks are in steelbooks anyway, so it's gonna look funny when I have a series of steels in alphabetical/franchise order for 4K and then starts over again for BD.

Separate. Just like My Criterions are separate as are My Arrow Video/Academy releases.

Separate bookcase entirely for UHDs. However, that bookcase just ran out of space over Black Friday week and they're now just stacking up.

Mixed, everything is alphabetical with exception of most shared universe titles (Marvel, DC, 007 and Wes Anderson).

I'm going to be combining them since some titles are on 4K and some aren't for the same title. For example, Superman theatrical is on UHD but Superman extended and tv cuts are on HD.

Cases are same size, and technically there's a BD included with 99% of them, anyways.
