Well I'm saying it would be super odd if that were the reason, since none of the others seem OOP yet. Also it wouldn't make much sense to release a ton of stuff the last 6 months knowing it would be OOP soon, so they have to have some kind of deal for things to remain in print for X number of years even when the deal ends.

I'm just saying the deal ending might have brought about some other complication or something. Who knows?

Sadly there aren't any Big Lots! near me . Of course id prefer the single releases but the online price for the first film is more then I wanna pay for it.

I could be wrong. But, when I saw the Amazon price, I had to track down a copy off of eBay and I paid like $11 for a used copy.

It seems like Hot Rod has gone OOP again based on price and availability. I picked up a copy at FYE this week for $15, on occasion I have found OOP Blus at FYE. I found Dawn of the Dead 1978 there last month for $6.

I just added the Paramount and Warner releases as they are both OOP.

YMMV but some Target stores have re-released it in their steelbook/special editions rack.

Some of those initial runs stay around for a long time though. For instance, I could go to the closest Target and get Terminator: Genisys steelbook, Transformers 1 (guess this isn't Target ex.) and 3 steelbooks, Transformers 3 robot package, Hunger Games 1 and 2 SE's and probably a few others. Transformers 3 came out nearly a year and a half ago and is just sitting there waiting. They also have 2 copies of each version, probably more in back. Hunger Games is going on 4 years!!!!

Compare to stuff like Evil Dead (13) steel, which disappeared within a week and never came back, and is really OOP and not available anymore. So technically these are all OOP, but many are easy to get as they are not OOS (out of stock). Maybe include em but with an asterisk for those that still be found at their exclusive stores.
