I found a copy of this yesterday at a used book store and picked it up after seeing your post.

The previous owner apparently decided to make their own combo pack, because what I got was a three disc set containing the Severin BD, the Anchor Bay DVD and the making of documentary on DVD. I've actually done that a few times myself when I wanted to hang on to the DVD for some reason.

The BD looks like it's in great shape. Now to see if I like the movie. I guess I won't have too much trouble selling it now if I don't.

Escape from L.A. looks OOP as well as Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman.

Has it definitely gone out of print? Usually Severin will mention something going OOP and take it down from their store when it's gone but this is still listed there as just Out of Stock.

All Paramount titles released through Warner are technically out of print, they just might not be out of stock.

Yes, but it appears as though they are releasing many titles on their own. See titles like Norbit, Saving Ryan's Private, Braveheart, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, etc.

Paramount kept a handful of titles before the Warner distribution deal (all that you mentioned, although I think Norbit might've been given to WB) but all the rest that were in that deal are now out of production. There's plenty to be found in Wal-Mart and Best Buy dump bins, although some have dried up and are gone again (Zodiac, Pet Sematary and South Park come to mind as ones I don't see anymore). All of these had Paramount only releases at one point, and some never even got new covers with WB UPC's, just sticker over the old code. The ones I mentioned all did slightly different covers.

Yeah, if you go back a few pages you'll see me trying to calm the waters by saying Paramount will likely reprint a lot of them. However it's still true that all the ones not currently announced again are out of print. Goofnut doesn't list them here until the prices go up, for good reason, but people should be aware they're all slowly heading that way and some might never be reprinted.

Cold in July might be going out OOP. It's only available on Amazon via 3rd party sellers and its getting more pricey on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/DVDs-Blu-ray...p2045573.m1684
