A good chunk (111 releases!) of anime publisher Aniplex of America’s catalog is now OOP.

Here’s the listings on Right Stuf: https://t.co/D9GhDKAi4C

Some more Universal shows that seem to be OOP

Defiance Season 2
Defiance Season 3
Dominion Season 1
Dominion Season 2

Looks like Universal shows that were originally released with a digital code that were not released again last year without a digital code are becoming OOP.

Geez, that show is a nightmare. They just finally release season 3 and 4 (after some doubts if they would ever come to disc... at least in the US). Now season 1 OOP? Are they flipping kidding me?

I had been contemplating a blind buy. But unless they come with a series set soon they can forget it. I'll have to look for streaming somewhere. Problem is, it apparently only streams on Hulu and Hulu only has up to season 3. I'm a huge fan of the Terry Gilliam film as well as the source material and would love to check the show out, but it's like they don't want me too.

You can buy the European edition of 12 Monkeys Season 1 blu-ray for about $13, but Amazon.uk says its Region B.

3rd party sellers on our domestic Amazon offer this same edition for $20-$36, and one of them claim it is region free. Unsure if it is region free or not, but Amazon region listings are often unreliable.

I have no idea if it is or not, but Amazon says everything UK is Region B just to be safe.

That is ridiculous. Hopefully season 1 gets a reprint at some point. I guess I should buy seasons 2, 3, and 4 sooner rather than later, but I really don't have the money right now. I did go ahead and buy the season 1 U.S. set already luckily. I'll have to put the digital copy up for sale in the UV trade/sell thread. My cousin raves about the show and he doesn't usually get into anything sci fi. I'm glad he recommended it before it went OOP. I'll have to thank him for that.

It seems much of the Broad Green catalog has gone OOP, unsurprisingly.

It is really starting to look like Unbreakable (US version) is OOP, but I can't say for sure.
No copies anywhere but ebay and B&N (for $43) at the time.
Of course myself and many others finally ordered this before Glass was released ($10 store pick-up at Wally 3 weeks ago), so maybe just OOS everywhere and all those copies rotting in a warehouse are now out and gone with more coming?

Still in stock on amazon.ca for $19.99 (shipped and sold by amazon). Not the best gauge of being OOP but it's there if people are looking for it. My guess is that we'll see a re-release with Glass being out now.

It would be even nicer if Disney decided to give it a 4K release to go along with the Glass 4K. Of course, they might not want to since Universal owns Glass (and Split).

I snagged a sealed copy of the UK disc off of eBay for ten bucks in late November (I think). Region-free, too.

The less Terrence Malick in the world, the better imo. He makes the worst movies. Period.

No it isn't, I clicked the amazon link and all they have are used starting at $58.99. The other options are blus from other territories which are $10-20, but the US is gone.
I agree a re-issue is highly possible, even probable when Glass comes to home, but you never know what studios are thinking these days.

Clearly we're looking at different things - this is where I was looking.
