Another word of note is that the remake of death wish is coming out this year, so Paramount might actually reprint the Blu-ray to coincide with the remakes release.

I actually received it from them on Saturday so it is really in stock.
Like all the Paramount/Warner discs I ordered from them (Death Wish was 8.99$ there last week, for example)
The only downside I got besides the bilingual cover I don't care about is that Jennifer 8 was refurbished but all the others were original factory sealed and the prices were right.

I agree really, though it did take them forever to put it on BD to begin with.

I sure hope so, it was a title I continued to pass over as I felt it was destined for the cheap bins at some point. Now I'm left with parts 2-4 and the hope it get's re-released. If Paramount starts to license out films though, this one seems like an obvious Shout Factory/Scream Factory acquisition if someone else doesn't scoop it up first.

I got lucky & picked up Death Wish like 2-3 weeks before it went OOP. The ones I'm sad I missed out on are Congo & Jennifer 8. Ill probably settle for the DVDs of those.

Am I mistaken, or is there a Death Wish collection that is region free from the U.K.? I don't think the 5th movie is on it though.

I doubt Olive will re-release it, although the rights could go to someone else who will. Hard to say, but $60 is harsh IMO. I got one a couple moths for around $30 (it was with another OOP title, so hard to say what cost exactly what, but both were $60) from a facebook group. This came after being outbid on the last few ebay auctions for $40 or so.
Guess what I'm getting at is there are deals, albeit few and far between, but they are out there. If you love the movie and can afford $60, go for it. If $60 is gonna get your phone or cable cut off, don't. If you think you might like it, find a site you can try it, or cable was playing it a few months ago and might still be, check your on demand.
I would bet against it getting a new release, but would also bet the demand won't get much higher, so neither will the prices.

I have Ticks from Olive Films on BD but if its already OOP now i know i will be keeping it need to re-watch it again though too.

I just got one from them off of ebay for about $10 shipped or so as soon as I saw the word go out here. The bilingual cover doesn't bother me a bit and the price was great. Great movie and a great looking blu.

I suspect this ballet is out-of-print. Kulter Video.com no longer has it listed as one of their blu-rays (although a DVD is still available). It could be an out-of-stock situation, but I'm not sure.
