That's correct. If I included store and website exclusives this list would be 10 times longer and you can't find many of these a couple years after they run out anyway.

i usaly see these sold for around 7-12 bucks on ebay. but pawn shops usaly has them for 4. everyones trying to get $200 or more for lone wolf and cub i bought my lone wolf and cub for 40 bucks free shipping on ebay, i was the only bid. just bc something is oop doesn't make it worth anything. u can still find oop stuff if you just wait. and check pawn shops fle markets etc.

Personally, I'd say that Amazon exclusives that remain in-stock for months and are the only way to get certain movies/shows, like with Agent Carter or AoS, or even have vastly different packaging exclusives such as these Marvel sets, are in a different category then most store exclusives. But of course it's not my thread or call. |

Doesn't appear to be. Flicker Alley's listing says "Out of Stock", but not "Out of Print":

If something is OOP and I am iffy on keeping it then it definitely adds some incentive. The Arrow Video edition of Videodrome for example. Love the movie, got it for the exclusives, but the Criterion was a slightly better release IMO and at the end of the day I couldn't turn down $100.

Yep, that first Paramount release was only briefly available and was OOP for a while. I remember driving an hour to the other end of the city to a Barnes & Noble that still had a copy at the full $40 price during the lengthy period when it was OOP.

It's discouraging to see so many titles that just go OOP out of the blue without knowing if it's due to a better release being released down the road. It's scary actually. Luckily I own the titles I know I like that have gone OOP but there might be titles I haven't seen that might go OOP that I might want to own and it will suck if that happens. Though I don't mind spending $60 or so from a third party seller on amazon to own the title if it comes down to that.
