That seems to be the pattern with some OOP Warner titles. Perhaps they are planning a wave of Streisand tiles on WAC.

Happens all the time with Criterions, they appear to be between printings:

https://www.criterion.com/films/27965-king-of-the-hill

If it were OOP the site would say that.

Often Criterions are unavailable for a few months after they run out. I'm sure the combination of this being one of their more obscure titles, and the pandemic means it'll be a while.

I'm looking forward to a new printing, I'll probably sell my existing DVD/BD combo digipack and replace it with a new normal BD version in a plastic case, as I did with Tess and Foreign Correspondent.

Not sure, but I've been worried with the Olive catalog since as a company they've been extremely low key for the last few years with few releases. There are also hardly any sales other than the occasional B1G1 through Deep Discount and even those are becoming more limited in selection. At this point I kind of wish they'd just sell their stuff to Kino or merge.

All three have been completely removed from wbshop.com and are only available from third-party sellers at Amazon.

- 1 disc version
- 2 disc version including theatrical cut and assorted swag
There were three copies of the $50 collector's set left at Amazon when I posted this, but it looks like some of you snapped them up, so I edited the post.
Huge fan and I will proudly say that I already own ALL cuts.

And they're probably just pulling them in preparation for Stone's "Supreme Mini-Series Cut" with 3 hours more footage! (One can dream...)

It's simply a fact that we're past due for another Alexander cut.

Ticks and Night Of The Scarecrow both went without any kind of warning (fortunately, I got both).

I would have bought it just to offset some of my other purchases. I saw it at at least 3 B&Ns. Hopefully someone that actually wanted the film got it instead.

It is often very difficult to tell what is or is not actually OOP with Olive Films. Some titles can literally disappear from all retail channels for months, and then just as suddenly show up again everywhere like all was normal.

I strongly suspect that many Olive titles just sell through all their stock, and only then do they order repressings and subsequently restock all retail outlets.

Since it's not listed as OOP on Criterion's site -- though they state it's "currently unavailable" -- it's probably not OOP, just between pressings. Believe it's still a dual-format, so they're probably just going to rerelease it in the separate formats, and because it's probably not a high-selling title, they're taking their time getting around to it.

Can anyone tell me if the South Park individual season blurays are going OOP due to the recent episode ban? Primarily season 10....

It was really only in the news recently because HBO Max, a brand new service, also disincluded some South Park episodes. Most of these episodes were pulled from syndication and disincluded from other streaming platforms years ago, and that never affected their inclusion on DVD or Blu-ray releases. For instance, episodes 200 and 201 were pulled from syndication almost immediately and were not available to stream on South Park's website within a week of their initial airing in 2010. Yet both were included on disc in 2011, and both were included in the Seasons 11-15 megaset released in 2019.

For season 10 specifically, the episodes not included on HBO Max are still streaming on South Park's own website.

So while something could, of course, change in the future, past precedent strongly suggests that Paramount/Comedy Central have no interest in censoring or removing them from DVD/Blu-ray releases.

The only version I have is the Laserdisc which actually has a pretty good transfer and nice color-and the original Superscope opening logo! (The only time I've ever seen it anywhere.)

It likely means they are planning a 4K UHD release of Alexander if I had to guess why the BD's went OOP by Warner.

so, after telling me all of which I already knew, I should expect restocks of season 10 in the future, thanks
