Anyone know what’s going on with the warner Archive Releases? I know they’re still putting some out but I just don’t want to panic buy a ton of them if I don’t have to. Also I’d like to know if The Batman motion Picture Anthology is going oop as well if anyone knows. It was like $33 on amazon then I saw it going for $50 so I’m not sure if that’s just price fluctuations or not.

I can't speak to that release specifically but things have actually been looking up at Warner Archive as of late. The thread has been insanely-active since the news of George Feltenstein recently returning to the company, after a long time of doomsday talk about the label. He was pretty much the single most important person over there as far as releases go, so his return is great news.

Plus, October releases just got announced this morning and September releases were really solid.

Ah thank goodness about the Warner Archive thing. I really didn’t want to spend like 200+ on them all in one shot lol.

AFAIK, not a single WAC BD title has gone OOP. Can't speak to the TV series, but I think every movie release's still available. Warner did announce that the 4 for $44 sales were ending and apparently Amazon's taken over the sales, but that's just indicative of the BD market in 2021.

Probably not, but a couple of these Image discs had pretty bad image quality for an IMAX blu-ray (especially caves one has bad EE plus poor resolution) and could benefit from a new transfer and compression job.

Living Sea is really good though, worth picking up for sure.
