Facebook is taking the news of Big Trouble in Little China going OOP as confirmation of an upcoming UHD. Even funnier is they think Omen and Fly are going away for good, although a few speculate Omen will be on 4K also to tie into the newer film's coming disc.

Most Fox catalog titles technically went "out of print" when the company ceased to exist, because Disney stopped making more. Some dried up immediately, like The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, some have taken longer to sell out existing stock.

That thought definitely prevented me from picking up the Omen boxset from Shout.

I'd be more cautious to just take it as a sign that the old Fox/Disney licenses with Shout are finally expiring altogether. With anything that's now locked in the Disney vault, it's hard to be very hopeful about them.

Honestly I'm eyeing a number of Arrow, Vinegar Syndrome, Kino Lorber, and Shout Factory blu Rays that are oop but still available to buy online even if some of them are quite pricy like Invasion U.S.A. and Robot Jox. I will be buying Crimewave, Dead End Drive In, The Park is Mine, and a number of others that are OOP before all the copies are all gone as the prices are quite good. And Also Indicator and Umbrella too
