They are OOP correct? They are still VS titles. Why would you exclude VSA titles from a VS OOP list. The user that asked made no distinction between VSA and regular VS titles.

I'm still very confused as to why neither of these very OOP titles haven't been added to the list, if this is meant to be the definitive "BDs That Are Out of Print (OOP)" thread. I know that OP doesn't care for me (not sure about his feelings about loxly), but if this is meant to be a definitive thread, they should be impartial and include titles that are--without question--out of print, and personal feelings should have nothing to do with it.

And as usual, with almost any post I make, I'm unsurprised that Ray has something to say to the contrary. But again, that isn't how this thread is supposed to work, Ray.

As James Luckard rightly corrected you, the vast, vast majority of Kino's OOP titles will never come back in print. KLI has shot down the idea of countless titles receiving reissues. Only their best-selling OOP titles have received the treatment you mention--and Disorganized Crime sure as hell doesn't qualify.

But beyond any of that, this is supposed to be the comprehensive Out Of Print BD thread, and OP is specifically ignoring certain posts/titles. That shouldn't be the case, and hypothetical speculation about potential future reissues should not keep this thread from being accurately updated.

Cheers

It looks like Five Miles to Midnight is no longer listed on Kino's site. There are still a few copies floating around at various sites if people are looking to get a copy.

Is Kino's release of Mario Bava's Black Sunday (1960) out of print? And if so....any possibility of it getting reissued?

It's on the list but only the AIP cut release of it. Does that mean both are OOP?

Yeah, both cuts are OOP. I believe most of the Bava stuff from Kino has gone OOP, though Black Sabbath (AIP cut) and Planet of the Vampires were reissued.

I know all of Olive's releases are essentially OOP now, but it looks like the signature edition of Invasion of the Body Snatchers is starting to dry up if anybody's been wanting a copy and putting it off:

Just a quick heads up that Leaving Las Vegas can be had, new and sealed, on Amazon, for a really low price now ($14.95 shipped, less than even used in rough condition!). It has been totally sold out or at like third party new for like $90+ for ages (for a while there were not even used for cheap), but some place seems to have found an a small old lot of them sitting around in some warehouse box somewhere. I just got my copy and it was fully sealed with original old school blu-ray seal still across the top.

https://www.amazon.com/Leaving-Las-V...&th=1&psc=1&m=

only 8 left now!

That's a good price for a new copy, but not a steal. It sells routinely for $10-$35 used on ebay, averaging about $20-25 and there is one currently for $12. No way this is selling for anywhere near $90 in new condition. It's just an artificially high price.

Congrats, though, to those looking for a sealed copy at a good price.
