I watched it a couple days ago and while yes - the scene is less revealing than when I originally saw it on cable in the 80s (on a 4:3 TV), I think it may be due to the changes in aspect ratio more than anything. Like, maybe when it was shown in 4:3 on cable the framing unintentionally revealed too much down below?

Just a theory...

No, even the widescreen DVD reveals the full picture in those shots. The Blu seems to only zoom in one that specific moment in the film. It's odd.

These titles are missing from Kino’s OOP list somehow on this forum thread just letting ya know all four of these titles are OOP. You can’t find them on Kino’s website anymore either probably been that way for a couple of years now.

So ya might need to update the Kino Lorber list as there’s a number of titles you’re missing with clear examples being these titles.

Kino blesses us with so many amazing and varied titles, and so many older ones are consonantly going OOP, that it's a bit of a game of whack-a-mole for the list of them to stay current.

Three of the Battles Without Honor or Humanity titles are out of print:

Battles Without Honor or Humanity (1973)
Hiroshima Death Match (1973)
Police Tactics (1974)

Police Tactics and the other two later films can still be found for reasonable prices online, the first two less so.

They all were available for $5 in multiple Arrow sales.

Looks like it's safe to add Mill Creek's release of The New Kids to the OOP list. Amazon and most other places completely removed their listings for it months ago.
