Gangsters now says 1 to 3 weeks on .ca. Did I miss out on the Canadian set too? :\

What is the exchange rate these days anyway?

So glad I picked up the 2008 release of Predator back when first released. Definitely the only way to watch it. Oh, and I also have My Bloody Valentine, which is north of $80 now.

I actually am saying "hey guys this looks like it might be OOP..." is incredibly useful. Most of the time the early indications something is OOP is that Amazon and Best Buy don't sell it anymore and things like that. It can be posted as speculation, but useful speculation. HD can then add the title to the list once more proof or time has come.

I ordered the set last week when Amazon.ca's listings said 1-3 weeks and I received a shipping notice last Thursday and my Canada Post tracking number says it was delivered today, so stock appears to still be obtainable (presumably from Warner Canada).

The Canadian dollar is $0.75 USD right now, so if you're in the USA, it's to your favour!

Plenty of copies sell all the time on ebay for in the upper $20 range. Cellophane is clearly not worth an additional $60... that's stupidity talking for anyone that would consider spending that much, as the market value for this title is clearly still under $40. I've been watching copies sell for months as I've held out for a cheaper sale. Do you have something oop and somewhat rare? Yes, but let's not inflate prices beyond reason.

Just want to confirm that Starman is now back in print in the US! Received my copy in the mail and the back cover says 2015.

All I'm asking for is more corroborating evidence before someone posts and it's added to the OP. If it just deteriorates into rumor and idle speculation and guesswork without proper vetting, it completely destroys all the good the thread has achieved thus far, as well as all the hard work HDGOOFNUT has invested in it.
Don't blindly believe. Do some research yourself on titles you think may still be in print. This thread isn't the bible or anything. It's just people trying to help out others as best as they can.

Are people in this thread aware that Funimation is losing the Fullmetal Alchemist rights at the end of March? Retail stock is already drying up and this applies to all related releases, including Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Many people in anime don't believe it will be re-released in the US anytime soon. Prices will almost certainly skyrocket once the remaining stock has been gobbled up.

Yikes, that's an expensive collection to piece together quickly.

I try to do research and not blindly believe, but when you keep hitting dead ends, you don't know who or what to trust. While I don't expect this thread to always be the last word, its percentage rate for being accurate is very high and I just want that to be maintained as best as possible. Isn't that what we all want?

My negative reactionary posts of late are not meant to condemn this thread as a whole. On the contrary, I am on record generously praising HDGOOFNUT for all the exceptionally accomplished work he does on the site for our benefit. It was also not meant to be overly critical of most of the posters who contribute titles here that are genuinely OOP. I think sometimes people read a negative comment or two and apply it to the whole rather than the parts. This was not my intention. Trust me, I owe a lot to this thread and I want it to continue to be as useful and helpful as it can.

Back on topic, has anyone gotten any confirmation about the Complete Series of THE TWILIGHT ZONE being OOP? My inquiries at IMAGE are so far unanswered.

Just wanted to give those interested in buying The Cable Guy a heads up, Amazon seems to have found some copies & has them for sale at $19.99, they ship in 5-10 days according to the site.

The OOP list for Arrow doesn't seem to be updated in a while. Could someone please update the list?

I think the double feature set of 28 weeks & 28 days later might be out of print.

Obviously, they need the stock for the $83 orders first. What a joke. Thankfully, I found a copy at B&N yesterday. So if you made an order with these people....make other plans. That is unless you paid $83.
I just received my copy of The Exorcist: The Complete Anthology from here today:

http://www.bullmoose.com/p/16760244/...ogy-blu-ray-nr

$29.97 with free shipping. Be aware though, mine had some nasty dents in the slip box edges from a spider wrap as it was likely pulled directly from one of their stores. Otherwise an excellent and very reliable retailer to buy from.

You can still find these in store at some Barnes and Nobles. I got the last copy at one location 2 weeks ago. It was priced at $35.99 and I ended up paying around $25 after my member discount and a coupon I had.

Thanks for the heads up. I put an order in so we'll see what happens...

Now if only this would happen with the original Pink Panther...

Thanks to the information here I managed to get Sorcerer, Get Carter (2000), and the Time Machine for under $40 total directly from Amazon Canada. Now hopefully none of these will have French writing on the cover...
