Socom 4 has a single player campaign (if I'm not mistaken).

I really like your idea of a limited-time voucher. As a PS+ member and user of many paid apps through their network I would appreciate that very much. If anyone has subscribed to Netflix for any period of time they can probably remember receiving a credit to their account. I've been a member for less than a year, but have already received about 4 automatic credits to my account for perceived connectivity issues with their streaming media. I never experienced a problem and never said anything about it. And yet, Netflix is proactive and offers this to its customers. It really leaves me feeling good about them as a company. Something that certainly cannot be over-valued these days.

Yeah. And who plays WarHawk, LOL? He is probably thinking of the last SOCOM:Confrontation, it was online only.

While Sony isn't communicating, I think the bigger issue is that they've not resolved it yet. There are MILLIONS of PSN users, and Sony should have every psn employee on this.

If my company had a 2 day outage, we'd take a massive hit to out bottom line, and be searching for new jobs.

Yes, but it was better than nothing. And as I said, my service was never affected anyways so it was unnecessary to credit me anything. It's more about the gesture than the dollar amount.

The PSN goes down a day or two or three every year and its free. If I went XBox 360 for as long as I had the PS3, I'd have gone through who knows how many on top of out $250. Sticking with PSN. Sony will probably give all of us a month of Plus and reimburse the Plus members for the month.

CNET has a poll up for what you would want free from Sony.

Might as well post it here. Wierdly I was able to update a game I haven't played in a while (Blazblue) and it downloaded the update even though the PSN is down. Also it now shows me that I don't have the plat in Blazblue (let alone any trophies now). I hope this gets fixed when the PSN gets back up.

Game updates for many games go through the Internet, not the PSN. You just need a connection to the Net, not be logged in. Most likely comes from that companies servers via the Net, not PSN. People without a PSN account can update their game.

Nothing, nothing at all is wrong with the offline aspects of MK. But I would have been wanting to play King Of The Hill mode and fight others online as well. Especially since the game just came out.

You can still unlock 'em. You just can't synch them up with the Sony servers to reflect online. Not that anyone could log on to see 'em anyways, mind you. Just unlocked 3 trophies within the last hour on Killzone 3 myself
