All I can say is WOW what a Great movie.
I truly believe Ryan Gosling is one of the finest actors working today in Hollywood. From Half Nelson to the Ides of March he's just a incredible presence on the screen. He doesn't even have to speak but you still get the impact. I honestly believe he was over looked for his performance in Ides of March when it came time for the Oscar nominations, and he's just as good in this film.
I just hope some people don't go into this film thinking it's going to be a Fast and the Furious type of film because it isn't.
Great picture quality, Superb Audio and Top Notch acting all around. One of my top films of 2011.

And I would have to agree with some posts spoiler tags should be used on this site more often. I went into the Scream 4 thread the day before it was released on Blu and some A-Hole gave away the ending with the who done it. If you've seen Scream 4 then you know I'm trying to choose my words carefully and not be a A-Hole like the spoiler poster did.

A great transfer for a great movie. Wow, that looked and sounded beautiful!

The only downside? Watching it reminds me of the screw job the Academy gave it last week nomination-wise. Where's Driver and his hammer when you really them?

Yeah i did big time and i knew it was coming as i saw it in a trailer. Had this movie dialougue playing at 85db at my seating position so not sure how loud it was in reality but man it felt like it happened right next to my ear. I was off the couch with the quickness

My 5 month old son did as he was on my lap when that part played. So I rewound it and played it again.

This movie was cool.

I watched this last night and was definitely impressed. Gosling and Brooks really make this film.

8 maybe 9. One scene in particular was pretty horrifying to me which was the

There's not much, but what's there is choice. I'd say there are a couple of shots that flirt with 8 or 9.

I would agree.

The violent scenes are very brief, and over very quickly, but for what short ones there are, there are a couple that are quite brutal.

GBox, I'd recommend picking this up. This is a title I would be very surprised if you did not enjoy.

Yeah.....I'll pass then. A movie that is more about stylistic violence than plot, is just not for me. I've tried before, but just not my kind of genre.

It's pretty graphic for a few seconds. I'd rate it about 8 in terms of violence.

Weak.

That is exactly the thing though, GBox, this movie is NOT about stylistic violence. (Although, a few very short scenes happen to be violent, this film is hardly centered around the violence.)
