Here's a photo of me from yesterday morning, just before 27 miles of trail running and hiking in Alabama. The temperatures were below freezing on the peak, so this was my first real taste of winter weather.

I haven't been running from I was on holiday a few weeks ago but I am gonna start tomorrow again....it's gonna be tough.

I'm lucky I guess...good genes!

Not bad for a 61-yr old, eh!

I have some grey in my beard, but that's it. Both of my Grandfathers and my Dad, all of whom passed away in their mid-eighties, had a full head of hair and barely any grey.

The women in our family unfortunately haven't fared as well. I think my Mom was completely grey by the time she was 40.

My father had a full head of hair too, thankfully, but was completely grey by forty. I'm close to fifty but am still just partially grey.
Yeah, its good to have good genes, lol!
