I'm about 2/3 through and I must say I agree.

Anyone get the itunes code to work yet? The vudu code worked just fine (HDX), but itunes is not recognizing the code as valid.

Does anyone think I could get a replacement case if I contacted Fox or whoever? I guess I could live with it but it's such a bummer to look at... I would love to get a replacement if possible. Anyone?
Same thing happened to me, but I just gave up and went back to studying for my exam.. I no longer have my copy of Prometheus

Open up the disc, there is a program called Fox Digital Copy. Run that. Put your code in and select iTunes as the format. It will give you a new code to put in to iTunes.

Hey guys I just bought the 2D version of this film and I was thinking about returning it for the 3D version. Are the features included worth the extra money?

thyose are the 4 movies in my collection that got shafted on a extra disc because of the 3D versions getting them instead, luckily people sell these discs on ebay and i was able to snag all of them without having to buy the 3D versions
My condolences...

Not really, although it is part of the same universe. Don't go in thinking Alien prequel or you'll be let down. Just sit back and enjoy an extremely well crafted dark sci-fi film with a few minor inconsistencies here and there that do very little to hurt the overall experience.

Anyone have any troubles finding the 3d 4 disc edition, or is it just me?

I was at FYE and they said they sold out of them already. Then at Walmart, They had The Dvd, Blu Ray Movie Only Edition and The 2 Disc Combo pack. I was then later at K-mart and only saw The Dvd and 2 Disc Combo pack.

is it that limited, or just does my area suck?

Some people claim it's a prequel and some say it's a film on it's own. I guess it's up to you to decide. In my opinion, it's a prequel. "Prometheus" opens the doors of the Alien films. It showcases and explains the beginning of how the Alien world begins and explains some of the unanswered questions that many people were curious about.

The amazing documentary that comes with the 3D edition is a must watch, as it explains in great detail why it was made, and how it came together, because many thought there wasn't any stories left to be told. But, the director and writers came up with a very unique way of explaining things and reviving the Alien world once again.

The 3 hour 40 minute documentary is so well made, that if they sold it on it's own....it still would be well worth the purchase. Paying the extra 5 bucks for it is a no brainer! Besides you also get two commentaries to go along with it.

More than likely we'll see a slightly better connection to Alien with Paradise, and an even stronger one if the tie-in film is ever made (probably by someone other than Scott).

Nope, Scott and Lindelof have said that the next film will go off on its own trajectory away from 'Alien'.

3 hrs. 40 mins., plus 1 hr. 10 min. of additional enhancement pods.
