Well with Titanic only the 3D version is open matte, same thing could go for Prometheus, but we probably won't find out till the first reviews surface.

Considering it was released in 3D as 2.40:1, it better be released that way on home video.

It's been released in 3 aspect ratio's actually. 2.40:1 in 2D and 3D, 2.00:1 for digital IMAX theaters and 1.66:1 for 70mm IMAX theaters. So there's a good chance the 3D version might be 1.78:1 if Ridley Scott decides to use the IMAX AR.

I thought the deleted scenes were on the 2D and the behind-the-scenes material was on the 3D....

Anyway, I really hope we get that cover art seen a few posts above, for that edition. I hope there's still a chance of that.

Hmmm Im so confused and I've been checking this every day for any news! Haha I'm not sure. Wish they'd end all speculation and just release the details. I also love the Canadian art , too.

Anyone familiar with itunes movies extras know if they are the same as those provided with the disk media? Also, what is the current speculation on why we haven't gotten any confirmation on the Prometheus extras on the 2D and bonus disk for the 4 disk package?
