I hope Movie Style gets more in soon; my steelbook collection keeps growing! I'll probably just majorly stock up.

That is where I plan to get mine...problem is my steel collection is growing exponentially and I am out of the cheap sleeves. I definitely need 150+ but as long as I get enough for my Disney, Marvel, DC and select few elite steels I will be good to go for a bit.

I didn't think I'd collected as many as I had, so bought 80.... and promptly used 78 of them. And then they were out.

And now I have another 12 already, with another 5 on order and the 3 upcoming from Best Buy.

Thanks for the pics. Doesn't look bad but I think I'll put in an order for 10 and see if I'm ultimately ok with the little extra space and also the fully enclosed case. For the $$$ I'll save, I really should be.

We need a US seller of those cases with the spine side opened.

I pointed the guy from videogameboxprotector to this thread. He will look closely your opinions. These come in batch. He can tell his supplier to adjust the size every time he put an order. I'm pretty sure though the gap is there for a sole reason, sealed ps3/ps4/X1 games. They were mainly produced for them and if they are too tight, it can break the seal. For some collectors, it's very important to preserve and keep these games sealed.

The gap doesn't bother me at all and I'd rather have it fully close than an side opening, personal choice.

Thanks for these pics Junkie88, cant wait to get mine.

Well I just ordered a bunch. So I guess I'm going to answer my own question.

I suppose this would be the best place to ask this:

I'm looking for soft sleeves for my regular (not steelbook) Blu-ray collection, but it's probably a 50/50 mix between the slimmer US cases and the thicker UK/Criterion ones. Which ones would you recommend for this?

I've seen on eBay in the US they have those "OPP 12mm Blu-ray" sleeves, are they wide enough for UK/Criterion-style cases? (I think they are ever so slightly thinner with rounder edges than steelbooks.) Also do they have that "stitched" edge? Some of the stock photos seem to show them and some not.

In the UK all the sleeves ("Neo Media", "Oker Brand") seem to be DVD-sized like these but at least the seal is on the flap and not the back so I guess it shouldn't be too much of an issue?

I don't suppose anyone knows of any good sleeves that work for thicker cases but are still Blu-ray height (and available in/ship to Europe?) Thanks for any help.

Has anyone compared the protective slipcovers from Steelbook Central to the steelshell slipcovers from Blu Steels? I know that pricing is about the same. I currently use the steelshells and they're not as snug as I feel they could be (probably because my steelbooks are opened and not sealed).

Looks like Movie Style is getting in G2 cases for non-sealed SBs by March 15. Since I open all of mine, I'll probably just buy a bunch then. Thinking about ordering over 100, just to be safe.

received my order from videogameboxprotector and they're a perfect fit for me. you can check Junkie88 photo's to see the gaps he was referring too and my last post explaining why there's that gap.

for the price, it's a pretty damn good product.

The guy I used on eBay (steelbook central) seems to have closed shop for some reason. He sold 10 for around £8. Anyone else good for UK? I would like jumbo sleeves too as I've now got a couple of those.

Have you tried the official website?
It's funny, because he's the seller I bought 100 slipcover protectors from days ago. I recommended that it would be best, pricing/profit wise to do it there then eBay. I wonder if that's why he closed shop.

It looks like they are only gone till Feb 27. eBay's vacation mode has a setting where you can suspend all your listings so that's why nothing is showing up.

If that's correct then that's good for those who usually order from them on eBay. I would still say going directly to their site is better. You can do it as a guest.

To be honest it didn't even occur to me to check for an official website! Although, nearly all of his sleeves are not there. I usually go for SC2 or SC3 as it leaves the spine exposed.
