That's tough to say. Blue Lagoon is probably the weakest film IMO. Having said that, I own it and enjoy it a great deal. It has a wonderful transfer.

I own all of the titles listed but my top 3 from your list would be The Man From Laramie, Mississippi Burning and The Bounty. I would just go with your favorite movie of the bunch.

I placed an order with SA today to get that autographed promo copy. Tonight, I was looking through my collection and discovered that I already replaced the old Journey with the one with the 4k scan. I was going to cancel the order but I decided to keep it and just sell the autographed copy in the forums classifieds. I guess that's a sign that I have too many movies.

Grabbing these

The Blue Max
First Men in the Moon
Hombre
The Young Lions

Need 1 more from these ?

The Blue Lagoon
The Bounty
Man for all Seasons
The Night of the Generals
The Man from Laramie
Major Dundee
Mississippi Burning
Philadelphia (might just get one of the releases across the pond)
Next to The Big Heat and Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, The Man from Laramie is my favorite film of those released thus far by TT.

Almost missed out on the autographed copy of JttCotE; amazed I was able to still get it just a few minutes ago!

The Blue Max is down to 25 left. I have updated the count in the first post of this thread. I have loved this one for years, ever since I saw it on TV as a kid. Probably seen it at least a dozen times over the years, but never has it looked as good as it does on Blu-ray.

Of course you're eligible as long as you purchase 5 additional TT titles before the signed copy is sold out.

Very surprised that the JTTCOTE autographed copy hasn't sold out yet.

RDODOLAK:

Thanks for the info. I had to buy movies I already have (THE BLUE MAX, FIRST MEN IN THE MOON, IN LIKE FLINT), but hopefully they are investments since I wanted the Diane Baker signature.

I wish the normal edition would sell out so I could pawn it on ebay for what I paid. One of the most disappointing blind-buys I ever made.

I think it's because of the $150 price tag. From what I can recall, the only other times they used the $150 price tag for a signed promo was when the autographed title was already sold out (The Blob, Fright Night).

Nope. Wish I did. I loved First Men in the Moon though. I'm mostly a sci-fi collector and JttCotE was 90% Disney style adventure movie with some (incredibly lame) monster stuff at the very end. Just my opinion.

Compounded by the fact that a lot of people already placed orders last week when the new preorders went up.

I wonder how long it will take if someone got the Journey to the Center of the Earth promo and the rest of their order was non pre-order Twilight Time items. My guess is 2-3 weeks at the earliest.

If they haven't started to ship the preorders yet, and assuming they have the signed copy in hand, then you should get your order pretty quickly. Orders start getting delayed once the new releases begin to ship. Since such an order would have at least 6 titles the order would ship by Priority Mail which would be a ~2-3 days of transit time. In theory it's plausible you could get it next week.

No specific data just yet but given it's being released at the beginning of September the preorder date should be around the 2-3 week of August.
