It was a total revelation though, I bet most who care re-bought it. I just don't think there are many more than 5,000 who want that movie on disc.

It's likely that there are more than 5,000 people who would consider buying the movie - just not to the tune of $35. Most of the folks that I know, only consider buying a blu ray disc, if the price is under $20. It seems the collector and more rabid fans are the people willing to pay a more exorbitant price for a film on blu ray.

Did TT happen mention, or hint, that they're releasing Screamers (1995) on their Facebook page in the past month? I was looking at the List of Twilight Time movies Wikipedia page and noticed it was listed under the future titles section. It looks like it was added back on Feb 22, 2016.

Unfortunately, fans edit our wiki page with their wish lists frequently, so we're sorry to report there is no truth to the Screamers rumor.

I ordered a copy of JTTCOTE on Saturday morning through SAE, but my order was cancelled/refunded today... wonder what was up with the inventory.

That's a bummer. Did scalpers maybe bulk buy at the end? Seems like there are a good many for sale on both Amazon and eBay.

Edit: On Amazon alone, sellers MOVIESPLUSMORE and The Movie Q both have at least 12 each for sale at inflated prices. So, there's that.

Not surprising at all. That's how they roll. A friend ordered it Thur night with around 50 left and his was also cancelled. SAE is a joke plain and simple.

That's so annoying. I try to keep it clean once in a while with titles that have been officially commented on.

Keep in mind as well, many Canadians have slowed down their Twilight Time purchases because our dollar is so low. When it was almost at par, $40 with shipping was reasonable, less if you purchased a few titles at once. But now, we are looking at like $50 a disc, which is way too much for most of these titles.

I wish a lot of these companies (Arrow, Scorpion, Code Red, Grindhouse, etc.) would set up distribution in Canada, as I would assume we are responsible for a hefty amount of their sales, and it's just way too expensive to order from America now. Thank god Scream and Kino titles are reasonable priced here, or else I would consider getting out of collecting. $50 is just too much for one movie!

Didn't TT used to limit titles to just 1 per customer when quantity got really low? Did this only apply to their super popular releases?

29.95 is too much for those titles. TT should be on par with Kino, Shout Factory etc...none of these films should be more than 19.95. They are more than Criterion's and look at how much you get in a Criterion release!

I didn't see a disclaimer - or note about it. TT could clear that up.

Scalpers know how to game the system with multiple accounts.

I like to pretend I'm Richard Pryor in Brewster's Millions. Day 1 blu-ray releases are an excellent investment.

Wow, thank you for all those great insights. So fresh, so original. I don't think anybody here has ever mentioned that before.

they only do that for popular titles. Titles that take a while to sell out they don't put those limitations on usually.

Damn. I ordered Sunday night, but I also added another item and paid with PayPal. Haven't received any cancellation. Did you use a different method and/or get it by itself?

I had no idea TT was releasing Chato's Land this spring; been clamoring for that one for a while. One of my favorite Bronson films and the DVD is horrendous.

I really hope we get a sale next month!
