Oldman wasn't nominated for "State of Grace", "Sid and Nancy," "Prick Up Your Ears", "JFK", "Chattahoochee", "True Romance", "Romeo is Bleeding", or "The Professional". Some of the most brilliant performances of the last 35 years. "Sid and Nancy" and "State of Grace" may be his two best. Shows the validity of the Academy Awards.

I don't suppose there's any chance that this could have the hour-long TV pilot with Jeffrey Meek (as Remo) and Roddy McDowell (as Chiun) as an extra. It's the same production company (Dick Clark Prods / Orion Pictures).

Yeah, I didn't so.

Wow. They managed to score a Scorsese film.

Hopefully the full length version (152m) rather than the edited US version (115m).

Just to make this clear:
There will be a 2d version of the film included too, right?

Yesss I knew the HD master for Boxcar Bertha was being shopped around, glad someone picked it up. The list of unavailable Scorsese films is getting very short, but please, someone release Bringing Out the Dead!

It appears fall is going to be an expensive season for me. In for "Eye Of The Needle", "Remo Williams", "9 to 5", "Boxcar Bertha", "Runaway Train" and "The Train" (missed it last time around).

Definites:

Murphy's Law
From Noon Til Three
The Chase
Boxcar Bertha
The Bullet Train
Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte

Maaaaaybe Eye of the Needle. It sounds pretty good, but seems far from a must see.

Have Runaway Train from Arrow, otherwise I'd get that too.

Some solid titles here. Bobby Deerfield will be a blind buy. Always intereted in any film about motor racing, plus it co-stars Marthe Keller.

Well I was right about Hush Hush and suspected Eye of the Needle was coming.

I guess those Hammer titles they have will eventually come down the pike

I'll use the $40 I saved getting the Arrow discs of Remo and The Train on Murphy's Law, unless there's potentially a cheaper E1 disc in the works.

I'll grab Runaway Train if it's a new transfer, otherwise I'm perfectly happy with my Arrow copy. Murphy's Law is a definite purchase but please use the original poster art on the cover. Using the original art, whenever possible, is one of Twilight Time's best features.
