It's pretty stupid that people get so butt hurt about the reissues. If your only buying these because they are limited then you are buying for the wrong reason and now it allows for more price gouging.

I have the re-issue version of both and glad they did the re-issue so I could have them as I didn't find out about the label until both were sold out of the 1st run.

As a collector who is paying a fairly high price for a movie, with the limited run nature, you do pay that price with the expectation that eventually it should retain and eventually gain value.

I should have about 11 TT titles by the end of next week assuming Screen Archives fills my order properly.

I feel bad for all of the people who wasted $30 on Christine, only for Sony to release it later.

Then again, I have the feeling that Kino will do the same thing with Wild At Heart pretty soon.

Has there been any further news about TT releasing panic room?

Why feel bad? People got to enjoy it, and they still can, for 2.5 years before the Sony release.

Wish they'd announce re-issues of The Egyptian and Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines :/ I know they were both slow sellers but if Rollerball can get a second shot then I can live in hope.

I'm with you there, as those are the only two OOP titles that I really want and don't have. But, yes, it's doubtful that they'll get reissues because they were slow sellers, each taking around two years to sell out. Rollerball sold out in two months.

Whichever case they were using when each title was originally released is what you get.

I would still skip the cool clear cases and the booklets for a $10 reduction on the asking price out of the gate, but such is life...
The cases and books don't cost $10! I like that they've started doing inside artwork too. The high price is the reality of the limited licensing model, I'm however grateful that they have the $19.99 sales. The $29.99 price always seemed like a stretch, but $19.99 is far more palatable.

For some people, if there is nothing to complain about they have no use to form words into a sentence. Just ignore the complainers. No matter what happens, on any subject, you will have complainers. Plus, why wouldn't you want your fellow film fans to have an opportunity to own a movie. Oh that's right, you're too worried that your "investment" will decrease in value. Only concerned about how much money they can make.

If they'd marketed the release as "pay an extra 20 dollars to have it three years earlier" I'm guessing it still would have sold out just as fast.

And it's not a secret. They've always been clear that there will be a limited edition of X copies for Y years. After Y years, then maybe someone would release it again, maybe no one would. Sometimes they do the next release, sometimes the studio does, sometimes no one does. Sometimes the discs sell out, sometimes they get stuck holding ones they've already paid the licensing fee for.

Don't feel bad for me. I sold my TT copy for $60 and picked up the Sony release for $10. I also got to watch it over and over for two years prior to that. Tell me again how I "wasted $30".

Fright Night's re-issue came in one, but they made it a permanent switch with their July 2015 releases.

Yeah, the clear ones look much better than the blue, IMO. The 1st Five I bought had the clear case. Placed an order for 4 more titles and they were all blue with the hard edge cases (one of which has the art work pretty far off in the placement of the case). Was certainly less impressed with the packaging of the older titles I purchased. I'll probably have to order some clear cases eventually.

Finally got the hold of my packet from the sale today.

My post office claimed they had notified me about it last week and I got a second pick-up notice in the mailbox so I was fearing it was missing or was stolen.

I ordered six movies and for me even at a discounted price its quite a huge order so I was very nervous.

Happiness and joy, and the ever loving warm cozy feeling when I know that they are here in my house and in safety, always got to love that feeling,

My order:

Sense and Sensibility
Twilight Samurai
The Bounty
The story of Adele H.
The Big Heat
Anastasia
The House of Bamboo

Fair enough, I didn't think about that.

Not exactly true. The Bounty was originally released in the blue case but now they're in the clear case.

So how many are still waiting for their orders from the sale to ship? I placed my order on July 1 and still haven't heard a word.

What did you order? However, it's only been four business days since you ordered and they're most likely working their way through on fulfilling orders.

I also ordered on July 1st. Got a shipping notice this past Friday (the 8th). My package should arrive tomorrow (it's in-state as of this evening, so I really do expect it to be here tomorrow).
