Was going to wait a little bit, but got scared seeing the low quantity for HUSH HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE. I would've been pretty peeved if I missed that. So ordered that along with:
GARDEN OF EVIL BOSTON STRANGLER KISS OF DEATH THE PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK |

Folks, the low quantity alert emailed yesterday was for the stock at the Twilight Time site only. Screen Archives may still have stock, so check their site also.
Having said that, a lot of the titles from 2011 (Rapture) to 2014 are dwindling down and those that are known to be low at both sites, along with the latest counts, are shown in the Low Quantity Alert in the first post of this thread. However, as we saw with Two Rode Together, there is a chance a title can disappear quickly without a warning. In other words, don't wait too long if you want something, but don't panic if it is disappearing at one site. Always check the other. I try to keep the LQA notice updated for those titles where it is known that stock only remains at one site. For example, Mississippi Burning and Hombre, where the remaining stock is only available at the Twilight Time site. EDIT: also note that for the older titles 2011-2014, many are now only at Screen Archives, such as those found in the current bundle deal. Last edited by oildude; 06-10-2017 at 06:12 PM. |

There is a random paypal promo that automatically applies a $5 credit to your purchase. I didn't notice an email but it applied when I placed my order at TT. So it may be worth checking out through PayPal to see if you get it or checking your email. I ended up with 2 orders.
TT - Inferno 3D, Pretty Poison, Tony Rome Double, Save Your Legs SAE - 9 to 5, Royal Flash Royal Flash is only at SAE, and I added 9 to 5 to make the most of shipping costs, plus the plus 4 is the most you can order at TT before oh have to use Priority Mail, so is worked out well. |

Is Breaking Away sold out? I don't see it on either site. And it looks like Violent Saturday and Titus are sold out on Twilight Time's site. I do get the impression though that most of their stock is on SAE, so I wouldn't freak out quite yet.

Ended up getting another 7 for $70 bundle: Blind buys of Save Your Legs, When the Wind Blows, Che, Follow that Dream, and The Believers; Stocking stuffers of TT titles I already have--Conrack and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.
The bundle sale is still going on along with the Fox sale: http://www1.screenarchives.com/bundles.cfm Some of the movies that I'd recommend from the bundle titles I've seen (depending on your tastes) are....Audrey Rose, Beloved Infidel, Bonjour Tristesse, Conrack, The Eddy Duchin Story, The Front, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Mindwarp, Mississippi Mermaid, The Only Game in Town, Royal Flash, and The Secret of Santa Vittoria. |

Just made an order from TT's site:
Bridge at Remagen Where the Sidewalks Ends Snake in the Eagle's Shadow/Drunken Master Kiss of Death Really look it forward to watching these next weekend. Twilight Time has shipped my previous orders really fast but I am sure they will be busy these week with the pre-orders shipping. Hopefully, I will get them by Saturday ![]() |

For anyone ordering from Twilight Time's site during the sale, here's a $2 off coupon code I got for making a review back in January. The shipping is a tad too high to Canada, so I'm probably just going to order from SAE from now on. Plus I'm trying to clean out my inbox, so someone might as well use it now. Please post if you use it to let other users know.

I'm very pleased with the Twilight Time sale on 20th Century-Fox titles. For many reasons, Fox has always been my favorite of all the studios that were active during Hollywood's "Golden Age". I picked up the following 10 titles, shopping at both the TT and the SAE websites:
Anastasia (1956) Best of Everything, The (1959) From the Terrace (1960) Garden of Evil (1954) Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison (1957) Hombre (1967) Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, The (1969) Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation (1962) Stormy Weather (1943) Titus (1999) I know there was some discussion a few days ago about Julia(1977), and I have to mention that it's one of my all-time favorite films. It's a beautifully acted chamber piece with a once-in-a-lifetime cast including Jane Fonda, Vanessa Redgrave, Jason Robards, Maximilian Schell, Hal Holbrook, Rosemary Murphy, John Glover, Cathleen Nesbitt, and Meryl Streep. Fred Zinnemann's direction is sublime; Douglas Slocombe's cinematography is stunning; and Georges Delerue's musical score is hauntingly beautiful. I've seen it on the big screen between 15 and 20 times, and at least that many times on video. The theatrical one-sheet by Richard Amsel was gorgeous (he also did the poster for Raiders of the Lost Ark, among many others); I had a framed copy on display in my home for many years. If you've never seen the film, you're in for a real treat, and the blu-ray is a steal at $14.95. Happy viewing! |

![]() ![]() I think TT absolutely "killed it" with these week's releases. I remember Nick telling me about Drunken Master a couple of years ago and it finally happened. Also, the Bridge at Remagen is an absolute must. Titles like those, there's no way I am delaying a purchase. Plus Hell on High Water and the Velachi Papers which I also plan on buying later on. When we look at TT's output (quantity and quality), its really impressive what the label has accomplished ![]() Definitely, looking forward to more WWII releases (maybe The Desert Fox) and Japanese films ![]() |
