I'm in for all of the September titles except for September.

The westerns all look spectacular, and my curiosity has got the best of me with regard to Beneath the 12-Mile Reef.

Has Lawman always been rated R? I must not have seen the theatrical version.

No, it was originally rated GP and resubmitted in 2007 when it was re-rated R. You can tell it's a re-rating on the blu-ray because it has the reasons for the rating in the block which is a relatively newer practice.

Heard back from Randy at Twilight Time today:

Wanted to follow-up with you on this situation.

We kind of had to scramble on this end. We have been totally sold-out on THE MAGICIAN for about two weeks now.

That had us scratching our heads as how we were going to replace your missing disc if we were able to to do it at all.

Fortunately, one of the Twilight Time owners had a promo copy on hand.

That is going to be sent out to you in the mail on Tuesday.

So, thankfully, we were able to get you a copy of the film on disc.

Thanks for your patience while we tried to resolve this issue.

I thanked them all for handling this so quickly. They definitely went above and beyond.

There's Sheree North nudity that I remember seeing a picture of in an old Playboy Sex Stars feature from the year it was released, but that was missing in the DVD and TCM showings I've watched. According to this post well up-thread, the British DVD has it included but other stuff is missing.

I'm probably the last person in the world who pre-orders stuff from SAE on day one, now that the sales on that website are so commonplace. It's sort of habit, though, and better safe than sorry.

Be prepared to be disappointed. I'm a big fan of Fox's '50s CinemaScope movies, but I won't be getting Beneath the 12-Mile Reef. It's not a good movie, and I have the score on CD and it's a great score, but the movie is a stinker of a sinker.

I'm somewhat disappointed with this group of BDs. I'm ordering Hour of the Gun, but, man, I really wanted some commentary tracks.

I did not realize that Terry Moore was in Hellhole. That movie is sitting in my still-unwatched stack of Scream Factory sale titles.
