BeBe's Kids on Twilight? What a disaster that'd be. Fans of the film need it come from a label they've actually heard of and with more of a standard price. No offense to Twilight but them and BeBe's Kids are not a good match. In fact I think if fans who saw it in its heyday knew it was out, it'd probably be in much more demand than 3k copies.
EDIT: But if they did do it, I'd buy one. |

You've only been here since June. You'll either get used to this place or be gone by next June.

We all appreciate enthusiasm for films released on Blu-ray by the labels. Twilight Time has released many sought after films and gems awaiting new discovery. Enthusiasm for their catalog is understandable. But please chill out. As for the 7 for 70 deal, please re-read my post three pages ago when you made a similar comment. First post is updated.....after I got home from work. Some of us have jobs during the day. Last edited by oildude; 09-29-2017 at 12:16 AM. |

In the past you have posted low quantity alerts that were clearly inaccurate which only creates panic and confusion and when you did that, I asked you politely to please refrain. |

Please let's move on, folks.
![]() ![]() I watched Woody Allen's Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask) a couple of nights ago. First time watching it in many years. I think the last time I saw it was on cable in the early 1990s. I had forgotten almost everything except the final skit where Woody is one of several sp*rms. As funny as that last bit is, my favorite skit was the parody of Italian Art House cinema about the frigid wife. Oh, man....that scene in the restaurant under the table. Me and my girlfriend were practically on the ground from laughter. Another favorite skit was the cross-dressing father. I don't think I stopped laughing during that one. The movie is a who's-who of familiar stars, including Gene Wilder as a doctor with a taste for (ahem) "lamb chops", elder statesman John Carradine as a mad sex scientist, and Burt Reynolds and Tony Randall as neural traffic controllers in the brain of a man suffering from performance anxiety. Heather McRae is a total hottie and we get to see her and Woody chased by a giant killer boob. A total riot of a film, it's definitely a product of the 1970s and very unlikely it would ever get made today. No complaints from me in the PQ department. It looks grand. I cannot wait for Bananas (from Twilight Time) and Take the Money and Run (from Kino). Watching ETYAWTKAS(BWATA) (whew!) brought back a happy memory from when I was a lad in the mid-1970s and we were returning to the States from living in West Germany. The airplane had earphones that plugged into the armrest and you could choose a variety of listening options from music to comedy. For hours I listened to standup comedy routines, many of them Woody Allen. A lot of the humor went over my head, but enough stuck that I thought he was hilarious. I became a Woody fan from that point on. EDIT: Lol....after posting this I saw a censored word and wondered what I wrote that was bleeped out. The language filter doesn't like sp*rm..... [Show spoiler]

Man, "Bebe's Kids" and TT would be such a bizarre match. Maybe they could release "Booty Call" while they're at it. I'd love to hear Nick Redman and Julie Kirgo do a commentary for "Booty Call". "This is Nick Redman, documentary filmmaker, record producer, and film historian. And we're here to watch one of the 90s most deeply irreverent comedies, 'Booty Call'. A film that shows the desperate lengths men will go to find a woman who fulfills their deepest sexual desires."

FYI - Gun Fury 3D Audio Problem Update
This is copied from the film's dedicated thread. TT has admitted an audio problem exists, but they will not be fixing it. Here's an e-mail from Screen Archives to a customer who inquired about it. Quote:

Please forgive SAE for not exactly framing the issue correctly as they have no involvement with any technical issues. The matter of sync is very subjective, and is strictly in the eye of the beholder. The problem with GUN FURY seems particularly unusual as it is not evident on every player and the majority of people who have purchased the disc are more than satisfied with it. However, for those who are seeing a problem and it adversely affects their enjoyment of the film, we have instructed SAE and the TT sites to offer a full refund to anyone who returns their disc. We think that is more than fair, and is really all we can do as the master is fine on many playback systems.
