Here's an old copy.

https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmXoypizjW3WknF..._releases.html

Edit: Here is a more updated version, but it's missing some of the info (DVD/Blu-ray and references)

I always found the ability to quickly sort it all different ways very useful, though I would've loved more columns (I don't think they had one for director). It's not a failing of this thread, just a limitation of the medium.

Is there a cheaper international alternative for 1984 with both the orchestral and electronic scores?

Not unless you want to watch the film with a foreign dub. The French, German and Spanish dubs on the MGM disc use the Muldowney score.

So if I received the movie by the 17th, I would probably have a chance to watch it before the 24th ... and maybe have something to talk about with Ms. Rush. Otherwise I'll probably just silently stare at her ... which is what I might do anyway.

In any case, I ordered it because I know I'll want to see it eventually.

Just ordered:

The Incident
Don't Bother to Knock
Kiss of Death
No Down Payment
Doctor Dolittle
(freebie)

TCM Classic Film Festival: http://filmfestival.tcm.com (highly recommended)
Okay, I canceled this order, then ordered it again so that I could add Blue Denim to the list.

How long does it usually take Twilight Time to ship things out after an order? It’s been 2 days and still not shipped (yet they took the money out right away). I hate companies that do that, take the money out right away instead of waiting for an item to ship. I don’t like the feeling of someone having my money, but the product is still in their possession. It almost feels like cheating in a way.

Too bad they don’t release their movies via other distributors. Third party sellers on Amazon wanted double what the movie I bought actually costs on the TT website.

The weekend probably slowed down the shipping process. It will probably ship today.

Usually fairly quick, if you do not have any pre-orders.

I placed my last order on April 4, and received a shipping notice on April 5. I chose media mail, and it is out for delivery today.

Wow just watched Dont Bother To Knock. No lie I love Marilyn Monroe the person but her acting style kinda gets on my nerves in her big title movies. She is seriously outstanding in this film. I had always heard rumours that she wanted to play more serious roles, hense why she was working with Strasberg towards the end.

After watching this I feel with just a bit of coaching she def could have transitioned to more dramatic fair. Her dumb blonde character must really have been an act. How sad the studios held her back. But everything about her life seems sad.

“It takes a smart burnett to play a dumb blonde.” is one of my favorite quotes by her.

I know I'll get crucified for this, but I never thought Marilyn was a good actress. She also annoyed me as well.

Looks like they did the same with Arrow too. Ridiculous, what harm was that page causing? Some people clearly just get off on being able to remove someone else's work. I guess they should also delete the discography sections for every band and the filmography of every actor, director, etc..

Looking forward to Auto Focus and Geronimo. I've been asking TT to get the Good Thief, the Neil Jordan film with Nick Nolte. It's Fox Searchlight, which TT has access to, right? Seems like the Good Thief would fit in with their other Neil Jordan and Nick Nolte titles.

I've found that ordering from Screen Archives is usually quicker.

While they're at it, they should also remove all lists of books for all authors. Basically, if it mentions a product that somebody could have bought sometime, then it's a catalog and has no place on Wikipedia according to these self-appointed Wikipedia police.

Sheesh, some people just get off on being sticklers.

I confess I feel the same way. Of the movies i've seen she's often the weak link - like 'The Asphalt Jungle' for example which I watched again recently.

Sheesh, some people just get off on being d*cks.
I used to do a bit of editing on Wikipedia, like over a decade ago, mostly pages involving British football (soccer) clubs and competitions. What I found though was that a lot of the people who get super into it are very detail oriented, smart but maybe socially awkward, who focus so much on the minutiae of rules and regulations that they forget about the bigger picture.

You'd get someone who would realize that things such as a list of trivia items were technically not allowed in a movie page for example, so they would then pore through pages and pages of movie entries and cut out vast swathes of information that they felt did not conform to those rules. There's a lot of value in Wikipedia but it's one of those things that often gets ruined by too many cooks.

Well, that was the first film she was ever in. And it was only a tiny part. Had she lived and kept it together, I think she would've done well. It's evident in The Misfits... I thought she was beautifully tragic and genuinely seemed disturbed in Don't Bother To Knock.

I always say that if something is easy then everyone could do it. Marilyn Monroe had many imitators (see: Mansfield, Jayne) but no one came close. She was sui generis, a rare combination of self-awareness and vulnerability with great comic timing. She was so much more than a great body and a dye-job.

I need to watch Bus Stop again.

I wish we could get more Twilight Time blu ray reviews on this site. Is there any way to address this issue?

The You Must Remember This podcast has several episodes on Monroe that are quite good, and do a good job of exploring how in on the gag she was.
