Insurance in the US is always extra, regardless of the shipping classification. But neither SAE or TT were purchasing it before when they were shipping First Class or Priority, and I doubt they're going to start now. |

Ah, so I see. I had just ordered from Screen Archives a couple of weeks ago, before the change. Well, if that's the case, if you have the option of ordering the same discs from either SAE or TT, I believe that TT has a slightly lower rate.

I'm not sure that's accurate. When sending small packages in the US by Priority Mail (as I did this past Christmas) they are automatically insured up to $50, no additional charge. If you want more insurance than that then you have to pay extra.

And you can get a tracking # the same way you get any other tracking number. Was SAE not spending the money on tracking? That makes no sense that they were "losing packages" shipping Media. Really looks like another way for them to jack up shipping rates. They are the worst offender of any of these independent outlets in that regard, always have been. |

Tracking has been built into MM for at least 2-3 years now at no extra cost. SAE routinely sent the tracking in the shipment email and added it to the order history |

Does the Twilight Time version of Body Double use the same transfer as the Indicator release?

I always thought The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (1955) would've come out from Twilight Time (or Kino). Between Twilight Time's uncertain future, Kino not putting out anymore Fox titles, and Disney not licensing out much Fox catalog stuff I just went ahead and bought the DVD today.

I don't think there's much demand for The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit to warrant a hi-def release. |

Certainly not enough for Disney to release it themselves, but it's possible Disney could license out Fox titles to a label like Kino in the future. Then this title and others become possibilities again.

I haven't caught up with this thread for a while, and it's a bit sad to see the downturn in activity. I'm not the biggest TT collector, but do own 46 titles. In checking my records, I'm sorry to say I didn't buy a single TT release in 2019. I have a few titles on my wish list - but in all honesty, with so many must-have releases from so many labels, I'm holding out for a sale to pick them up.
I can't claim to have posted here much but I do consider myself a fan, and TT has released some essential films in my collection. I really hope we haven't seen the last of the label, or of lively discussion in this thread. |

There's also an E-mail from Screen Archives; I'll spoiler tag the list, it's mostly the same but there are some titles exclusive to each site so you might get lucky.

So let me get this straight: lots of people have said repeatedly in recent years that the biggest hurdle stopping them from ordering more TT titles (especially during sales) is their crazy expensive shipping. So their solution is to...eliminate their cheapest shipping option? Seriously? Everyone uses media mail - why is it so supposedly unreliable for TT (and seemingly TT alone)?

I was going to get the 2 Charles Bronson films. Saw from Noon Till Three at the theater when it came out and didn't like it all but thought I would give it another chance. The Stone Killer is ok and I have the Indicator release but I like Paul Talbots commentaries and was going to get it for that. Once I got to the shipping and they wanted $7 for 2 movies, I lost interest. Maybe some other time...

This one still shows regular price on SAE, is it definitely listed in the email?
