I placed an order for 3 titles from the Twilight Time website, where there was a shipping option that was slightly cheaper than at SAE's website. ($8.17 vs. $9.50).

Reminds me of the old ads for products for sale on TV where if you act now they throw in a second item free! You just have to pay $14.95 for shipping and HANDLING...

If you don't believe in my honesty, at least believe in my laziness, I just cut and pasted the whole thing with no adjustments or edits made.

Grabbed these from TT and utilized a $2 off each item coupon. Eliminated the shipping costs altogether.

Looks like it's fixed now, maybe the site was still updating last night when I checked.

Their site is all messed up. If you search for "September", the link that shows in the drop down (the "Special Promotion" pricing) doesn't work. You have to actually hit the search button and then find it on the next screen. If I were interested in any of the titles offered in this sale, I'd be annoyed by their site right now.

I just got You Only Live Once, which is technically a ClassicFlix title, but I couldn’t pass on that price. Nothing else here interested me.

Yeah, Twilight Time has been offering ClassicFlix titles for a while now (and Flicker Alley, as well). The titles that have excited me the most in this sale, are in fact ClassicFlix titles. The prices can't be beat.

Quite often, after you make a purchase directly from TT, they will send an email asking you to review one of the titles you bought. Once you complete the review, they will email you a code that knocks $2 off each title on your next purchase (or whatever purchase you want to use it on. It doesn't appear to expire). The wording in the email doesn't explicitly state it's $2 off each title, but that is how the coupon will work once applied in your cart. You just need to make a purchase over $10 for the coupon to take affect. They usually send you the email a couple of days after your order is delivered. It may go to your spam or junk so always check there as well. If you have ordered from them in the past already, search your inbox. You may already have a review request email!

The Man Who Laughs is on my radar, especially after landing in the top 10 on DVDBeaver. It looks like an amazing restoration.

I do need some more Twilight Time films, however. I wouldn’t mind completing the commentaries that Nick Redman did.

The Nick Redman commentaries are something I seek out and treasure too. If it weren't for him, some of these Twilight Time blu-rays might never have seen the light of day.

(On a side note, my order from 5 days ago was delivered today. Not bad for using the cheapest delivery mode available on the Twilight Time website. And there was even a day of non-delivery within that 5 day span due to a postal day off yesterday).

I make it a point to see if he has a commentary on some of their titles I see that are on sale. I like his commentaries (or the ones he basically moderates) and have to assume that they'll never get put on any future releases if another label puts some of these films out.
