Yes. Though it's only been a few titles and some of them have been hit-and-miss like The Man From Hong Kong which could've been improved from the Umbrella release. Don't expect any releases from the studios, as that's out of the question.

I honestly can't recommend We of the Never Never highly enough. Have seen it numerous times over the years and it holds up so well with every viewing.
It is also the type of film that one doesn't see much of anymore from Australia. Angela Punch-McGregor's best performance to date also. Magnificent film. |

Sometime since mid Oct, the following appear to be sold out
APPASSIONATA (1974) GERONIMO: AN AMERICAN LEGEND (1993) HOUR OF THE GUN (1967) I WANT TO LIVE (1958) The only item I can see below 50 is Alamo Bay Additionally I still seeing VANISHING (1993), THE 50+ Units Interesting that Alamo Bay is the very last of the pre Jan 2014 items still around releasing in Sept 2013. The next oldest item is Fever Pitch from March 2014. Alamo Bay has now been available to order for over 3060 days which is close to 500 days longer than any other TT title lasted (Roots of Heaven from 2011 at a little over 2500 days) |

I grabbed a copy of I Want to Live on December 4th after seeing Susan Hayward’s stellar supporting performance in The Lusty Men. I lucked out then, getting one of the last copies at SAE.
I have Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter on the way. I’m surprised that one isn’t running out of stock. It’s such a great film. The Long Hot Summer will be in my next order. |

I want to order some titles, but the prices are too steep. I can't justify spending $20 on TT blu-ray's when Criterion and other (higher quality) boutique releases can be had for the same price – and often much lower (for example, I ordered three Kino Lorber titles, including one recent release, for just over $20 total a few days ago).
SAE shipping costs aren't cheap either; $13! "The Long, Hot Summer", "From the Terrace", "Inserts" & "No Down Payment" are the final TT on my wishlist. Do you think these will go OOP anytime soon? |

Hopefully I've worded this correctly, that I've got the gist of what I've been reading on here over the past few months regarding the potential takeover of MGM by Amazon. It seems like uncertainty with the chance(s) of boutique labels being able to license films from MGM (although I'm wondering if they own worldwide rights to some films (it's baffled me why Gorky Park and Windows (the latter, starring Elizabeth Ashley and Talia Shire) haven't had UK releases).
Anyway, there are a couple of Twilight Time titles I would like to get, one of which is Chilly Scenes of Winter. |
