I'm definitely intrigued. I just don't know if I can justify La Bambola over a blind buy that actually sounds good... like COWBOY... or something I know is good like WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS.

I noticed you didn't mention Deep Red. Although Arrow released this in the UK, Region A folks who recently received theirs mentioned it plays fine on their players. This limited edition is sold out of course, but supposedly DiabolikDVD.com are supposed to receive copies to sell on their website.

I've got Deep Red by way of the Blue Underground three-pack with two other Argento movies. I just haven't watched it yet. Thanks for the info.

No problem, btw I confused it with the limited edition of Pieces w/ the puzzle The limited edition of Deep Red is a 4K transfer of the 2 versions plus the CD soundtrack, and some other stuff I think.

Sidenote:
I've also seen a couple of great titles that I received as bonus discs (the Ron Shelton autographed Under Fire was absolutely fantastic!) but I'm probably going to pass on this one, it just looks like more soft-core spanking material from the director of Blue Lagoon.

Only a few left in my (online) wish list, most of which I hope will be on sale in a month or two... so me neither.

(And shortly I'll be picking up my snail (DHL) mailed (on the 24th) copy of Deep Red, curious to see how much damage they've inflicted on one of my packages this time around.)

Don't get me wrong. Summer Lovers looks pretty terrible... but I do like some pretty terrible 80's movies... so I'll give it ago.

I'm starting to lean towards a pass on this one too, but I might change my mind again tomorrow.

I liked Summer Lovers more than I expected. Also for Patrick Swayze completists you haven't lived until you've experienced his poolside speedo audition on the bonus materials.

This time next month should be the anniversary sale (if there is one), so I'm going to wait because there's a few older titles I want, if not there's always next month's promo.

Ok let me ask...there is a guy on ebay who has sold 80 copies of The Blob and is still selling. Is that even possible to have that many legit copies or does TT not limit sales?

Has anyone gotten any shipping notices for the titles that were supposed to be released today?

I pre-ordered The Big Heat and Where the Sidewalk Ends last week, but it still should have been in time for them to ship and get here by today from Twilight Time. Oh well...

I received a shipping email for The Big Heat this afternoon. Seems like this month's releases are a bit behind.

For some reason, I can't log onto the SAE website. I'm using a MacBook Pro laptop with the latest Operating System, with Safari as my browser. All of the software is updated. SAE is the only website I'm having problems with.

I keep getting a blank screen with a message saying that Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server.

I wrote to SAE about the problem and a representative replied with this:

"Our site is working just fine with no errors. We have had a couple customers who use Apple products that have been having issues here lately. And the others have noted that the errors were fixed by updating their web browser."

I'm posting this in case others are having similar issues ... to let them know that they aren't alone.

I have no problems accessing SAE on my iPad. At least I have an alternative.

When I checked this afternoon, my order (The Big Heat, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Cowboy, and Support Your Local Sheriff/Gunfighter) was still listed as "awaiting fulfillment". When I checked it tonight, it says it's shipped.

They still can't get their act together after that meltdown they had back during the big sale?

Yes they limited sales of the Blob and while I suppose it's technically possible for someone to have obtained that many legit copies, I'm going to go ahead and call bootleg on those.

Did you order from SAE or Twilight Time?

The Screen Archives website uses very weak security and that may be what Safari is complaining about. They need to talk to their webmaster or hosting provider to increase the security level. In the meantime don't store any payment info there. I use PayPal.

Edit: Or order direct from Twilight Time.
