For those that don't have it yet, I recently bought Man In The Dark and I highly recommend it. Fun (but cheesy noir) movie with some seriously great 3D. Probably the best looking classic 3D movie I have seen yet.

I believe you are right that there are now only two films shot in that format that have yet to be released. I'm slowly getting them all.
You can check my collection (I have 70mm sorted) if you want to find any you might be missing. I dont specify between 65mm neg, vistavision, etc though, just any that are close to 70mm negative emulsion area.

I have Croupier and The Private Eyes on blu, and have emailed with them mentioning my support and to keep putting out the blus!

Great to hear about the deal with Fox. Hope this means some great Tyrone Power films will be in the pipeline like "Captains From Castile," "The Black Rose," "Son of Fury" and "Prince of Foxes."

More Fox titles, woo hoo!

Nightmare Alley is the big request that I can think of off the top of my head.

FYI, here is the latest news from Twilight Time about one of my most wanted films on Blu-ray, The Lion in Winter (1968). It's a glass half full kind of thing.

Quote:
Twilight Time Movies......while we do have blu-ray rights to The Lion in Winter, the master is in very bad shape and we are reluctant to put it out in that condition. Apparently a restoration is in the works overseas, but it is unclear as to whether we can access that as yet - we are postponing a decision on the title until we know for sure.

I'd die laughing if the Fox titles included The Abyss and True Lies. Because, clearly, Fox has no interest in releasing them. They've both been done for so long, the scans are probably outdated by now.

Fox has never said they are not interested in releasing them.

That's unfortunate. I'd rather they sat on it rather than let some other label tie up the rights with a half-assed release.

well if it's going to look bad why bother, you'll just have rebuy it when it gets done right (besides we got a few dud transfers in the last few months just look at "Hawaii")

I suspect the problem is with Cameron. He probably wants to oversee them himself, but has too much other stuff going on that they get put on the back burner.

I hope they got TWO FOR THE ROAD. A restored version screened at the TCM Fest in 2012, and I think it's the version used for the UK BD that I have, but I'd still like to get a US BD that I can play on any player, as it's one of my favorite films.
