there seems to be an echo in the music and SFX in the main audio track.
(from what i understand the previously released DVD doesn't have that problem)

I wanted to buy it too, but I haven't due to that reason.

Thank you so much for the quick heads-up. I'm not particularly demanding when it comes to AQ but that's a real problem. I just emailed TT asking them to remove that item from my order.

Bummer as adult-oriented, hand-drawn animated features are few and far between.

I ordered First Men in the Moon through SA since TT had sold out of their stock. I placed the order Sunday night and it came in today. That was fast. I don't even care that it wasn't the sale price. Never seen it, but seeing how much I love Journey to the Center of the Earth I'm sure this one will be right up my alley.

And that Hawaii and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is also back in-stock and part of the sale at $20 as well.

Mind if I copy your post? I did a blind buy for exactly the same reasons, (including the love of JTTCoTE) ordered Sunday and mine arrived today too. It looks like this Twilight Time's sale is going to boost SAE's sales as well if you and I are any indication. Bought 9 from Twilight Time sale, 3 more from SAE, then one more OOP off Amazon. This Twilight Time kick I'm on is getting really expensive, glad the sale is over in 2 days ...

Sure, if you can forgive the "stick" instead of "stock". I normally try to proof my posts before posting, but... Yeah, it slipped me this time. I have made all my other TT orders this year through TT's own site, but First Men in the Moon I just had to get a jump on. And I've never seen it. I just watched Bell, Book, and Candle for the first time today and I got that one in right on time last year before it sold out. I actually got one of the very last copies. I now officially have to say thank you to Twilight Time for existing to give films like these releases that they may have never received any other way.

Just got an email from Twilight time saying they replenished the stock on the following titles:

Hawaii
Fate Is The Hunter
Bonjour Tristesse
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

I have seen a lot of people mention Hawaii. Is it that good? Never seen it or heard of it.

The email also mentions that this is the last batch of stock for these titles they will have.

Not sure if that includes SAE's allotment as well; I've really got a hard time believing Hawaii is that popular to (nearly) sell out so quickly!

Same here. I ordered The Best of Everything on Sunday, and received it in the mail today.

The plastic case was damaged pretty badly, but everything else is okay. I simply replaced the case with one of my blue Viva Elite replacement cases. I'm not going to sweat the color of the case with my Twilight Time titles.

Well, since I'm here...

Picked up State Of Grace finally. Great, great movie. Gary Oldman is just amazing in the film. It just had the misfortune of being released the same year as Goodfellas, Miller's Crossing and Godfather 3, so it's the Gangster film that audiences pretty much skipped. Their loss. If you haven't seen it, you need too. Some white specks do plague the presentation but it's not nearly as bad as say Universal's release of Halloween II. I feel that Ennio Morricone's score is mixed too low but it's always been that way since the films release. Those small issues aside, I'm very happy to have State Of Grace in 1080P!

I missed out on the original release of Mysterious Island, so I was happy to pick up the encore edition. I also went for The Bride Wore Black. I'm a huge Bernard Herrmann fan so I'm really looking forward to checking out the isolated scores after I watch the films.

Finally, I went with a "grindhouse" guilty pleasure title and got 10 To Midnight. I haven't seen it since the 80's probably! Looking forward to this weekend when I can finish off my Trailer Trauma disc and then hit the mean streets with Bronson!
