I just want to say that I ordered several titles from the sale and the shipping has been superb. They arrived within days. This is a big sale and I remember the issues with the last birthday sale. This has been a much more pleasant experience.

I ordered three films from the sale last Friday morning and received them yesterday. I was a bit concerned that they were simply placed inside a single 9x11 bubble mailer, but all three arrived unscathed.

Thanks for the cheat sheet, it says a lot when 7+ titles, at SAE, cost more to ship within the US than it does to export them to Canada.

Good catch - I missed the $3 that is always included for UPS - they have a delivery surcharge. I'll correct first thing tomorrow morning.

Not gonna do it... Not gonna do it... Aw, crap, I did it. Ordered seven, all blind buys. Have yet to find a bad TT release; I'd say they're a better "curated collection" than any other, Criterion included. Loved the sale, but my wallet hopes there isn't another one for a few months.

I just ordered 4 more. When each title is $10 off it makes it hard to resist.

Imported 6 titles into Canada and the wallet is hurting. but much better at this price than the usual $30.

My package of five titles from the 10 to Midnight signed promo arrived from SAE. I am in Canada and they shipped one day after the order was made, arriving in just under two weeks which is actually pretty good for shipping to Canada. The other titles I ordered were Emperor of the North, the Support Your Local double feature, The Big Heat (which was the first title I ever missed out on when the first release sold out), and House of Bamboo. That last one is a blind buy, but it looks really cool and up my alley so I'm looking forward to that.

I didn't realize there was going to be sale announced two days after this order was made, so I made my first order through Twilight Time. I've got two titles coming from them. The shipping for two titles is cheaper than SAE to Canada, but I noticed from that chart that it depends on how many you order as to which one is cheaper. They are really great with the communication, three e-mailed updates (but alas, no tracking number). I'm curious to see how they measure up in shipping speed and packaging.

I ordered 3 from TT on Sunday and they shipped right away, Monday, I did get a USPS tracking number. I've ordered from them just once before when they first launched 5 titles also fast shipping but got dinged at customs with duty/tax as they put the full retail value on the slip. TT has since promised that this wouldnt happen again so we'll see.

There's an Australian release by Umbrella, and that's region free. I own it and it's a good buy.
