It is encouraging to read understanding posts here about the SAE code error and not rages about an obvious mistake not being honored. Slowly, my faith in humanity is being restored haha.

It would've been nice if it had been real since I could have picked up around 8 titles I've had my eye on, but I thought it seemed a little too good to be true even before they said it wasn't for Blu-rays.

I'm not sure if these pop-ups are for everyone or just for targeted accounts, and I assume you will only be able to take advantage of the offer once.
There appears to be a minimum order of $100 before the discount can be used.

Sorry about the issue with the $100 minimum. It was supposed to be $50, and the language and setting has now been updated to reflect that.

Please note the coupon for sharing on Facebook has a $20 minimum, and is completely separate.

Just linked TT to my Facebook page, and picked up

Fate Is The Hunter
Cowboy
Support Your Local Gunfighter / Support Your Local Sheriff

$9.00 savings !

last TT order got here in the blink of an eye, because of my proximity to their distributor in nearby Lavergne, Tennessee.
Hope that's the case this time too.

Does anyone own the region B release of The Hound of the Baskervilles? I'm debating if I should get that one or the TT edition next month. Not sure how they will differ.

This code is valid for 50% off these titles only.

This code goes live today at 5pm for the noted titles. All current orders that have utilized the code will be canceled.
Placed an order Thursday morning for Vincent Price Collection for $32. Just got an email stating why it was cancelled. Wish it was right away because I passed on getting the same set for $35. Most likely gonna spend over $50 now.

I realize this post was more than likely facetious, but I gotta say That I actually bought the Won Ton soundtrack elsewhere just the week before, and I've been enjoying it quite a bit since then. There are two film OST's on the disc, with the second being a film I never even heard of- but it's a blast to hear Neal Hefti kicking out grooves very reminiscent of his Batman theme from a couple years earlier.

With over 600 Bds (and probably almost as many DVDs) sitting here that haven't been watched yet, I think I've finally hit a turning point in this hobby.
Just can't keep buying and hoarding stuff for some mythical magic time when I'll have an irresistible urge to finally watch it. I've transitioned to collecting soundtracks and while they are generally more expensive than optical discs (save for the $30 TT offerings), I'm realizing a far better bang for the buck with them than I ever have with my movie collection.

BTW, one of the biggest bargains in that sale is a 4 CD set of soundtracks to the Antonioni films L'Avventura, L'ecclise, La Notte, and Red Desert. Looking forward to getting my copy soon. should still be a few hours left.
And yeah, I highly recommend WTT:TDTSH too. fun set of scores if you appreciate nostalgia and stuff off the beaten path.

FWIW, we do not keep any info from your Facebook account. We use a 3rd party service that simply checks to ensure that you share, and then our store issues a coupon.

We store nothing more about you than your email, and any saved shipping information in your address book. We don't even keep credit card info, as we try to respect our customers information and privacy as much as possible. This means that all our credit card payments go through a third party processor (Chase Paymentech) and never actually live on our systems, minimizing your risk when shopping on our site.

Just to be clear, it's Facebook, not Twilight Time, that I object to. Facebook bases its business model on collecting information about people and selling that information to advertisers and other interested parties. I try to limit my exposure in that regard.

While I have do a Facebook account, I'm mostly a lurker, using it to keep tabs on friends and family members. I recently received a Facebook message from a college friend that I lost contact with 35 years ago, which was pretty cool. Turns out he moved to Florida, so if it wasn't for something like Facebook, I never would have heard from him. For me, Facebook has its uses, but it doesn't need to know where I shop or what products I'm interested in.

I hope you understand.

I don't own it but it looks to a be a strong package and is very attractively priced if one is region-free. I'll be interested to see if TT use the same transfer, as the PQ gets a mixed review here. Not my favourite film version of the story, but I'll definitely pick up a copy - hopefully from TT as I like to support them whenever possible.

With approx. 80 people per day moving here, traffic's a bit worse than it used to be.

You, sir, are a dedicated madman. As much as I support TT, I draw the line at selling my car to fund my collection.
