Note to Twilight Time: If you are going to charge a premium for your blu-rays, at least have the courtesy of including HOH subtitles on all your releases.

Thanks for the response, guys. Of course, aside from the British, foreign and "secondary" titles, you listed just about every release on the list. Haha! Guess this sale is gonna do some work for me.

well, i'd say approx. 95% of the TT releases do have subtitles.

A PERFECT COUPLE (Altman)
HOUND-DOG MAN (Don Siegel)
THE ABYSS (somebody has to release it!)

HOMICIDAL (with Hugo Friedhofer's score isolated on audio track)
THE CRIMSON KIMONO

I just got around to watching Sleeper on BD. Definitely top-tier Allen, although strangely there was one scene missing from the version I watched a number of times back in England, and instead in its place one I had never seen before.

I have Broadway Danny Rose on order, which is one of his very best. Play It Again, Sam is probably my favourite; I don't think he has ever been better as an actor, or perhaps even as a writer. But of course, he didn't direct. One of my most wished-for BD releases.

I thought they had been doing pretty well as far as subtitles lately. What recent releases have been missing them?

Didn't they say they had plans for "Effect of Gamma Rays" about a year or so ago?

Having read all the positive comments regarding Rapture, I added it to my order at the last minute. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. My haul for this sale ended up being:

The Detective
Exodus
Love is a Many-Splendored Thing
Major Dundee
Nicholas and Alexandra
Rapture
Where the Sidewalk Ends

Of the upcoming releases announced so far, I'm definitely in for:

The Gang's All Here
Hush ... Hush Sweet Charlotte
Miss Sadie Thompson
9 to 5
Runaway Train

I'm most excited about:

HARDCORE
INSERTS
HUSH...HUSH, SWEET CHARLOTTE
THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING (mainly due to the supplements)

I should have placed THE THREE WORLDS OF GULLIVER on my TT want-list. I'll add it now, along with a couple of other titles.

TT has mentioned EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS on their facebook page, but that's the extent of it so far.

My SAE order for INSERTS and THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING has now been given a first class tracking number, so I expect that it will ship out of Virginia in a day or two.

Just watched the extra on The Hound of the Baskervilles bd with Christopher Lee reminiscing about his friend Peter Cushing (from 2002 but I have never seen it before). Wow....very touching. What a great special feature.

All of their 2016 Blu Ray releases (so far) have SDH English subs, except for La bambola di Satana which only is in Italian with English subs.

I can't recall either a "recent" TT release without English SDH subs. The only one I can think of within their total output anyway is When the Wind Blows.

At least Angel, A Month in the Country & 2 by Ken Loach don't have the English subs. They appear to be all licensed from the same company, as the same logo is on the rear package. Maybe the licenser didn't provide the subs...

Yes I think all the Film4 licensed UK films don't have subs.

But the ones that need it most, (not counting foreign language films), don't which makes no sense.

I passed on:

RAPTURE
SWAMP WATER
VIOLENT SATURDAY

for this reason. They are all older releases, though.
