I think Mindwarp has been a really slow seller in general, so it makes sense for them to drop the price in an attempt to drum up more sales.

That said, I was willing to pay full price for it even before the price drop happened, but as I already mentioned, the price drop totally sealed the deal for me.

Midnwarp is terrible but I'll get it at that price for Bruce Campbell. Why not. I collect sci-fi in general and own much worse.

Annoying they waited until after September pre-orders went up to mark it down. Two shipping charges.

HOT ROCK! Goddamn that movie deserves a BD. It's hard to believe that a movie with that much star wattage could be underseen and underappreciated to the point that finding a decent print has proven problematic.

Per TT's FB page:
It's the battle of the sexes as the ladies of 9 TO 5 are going head-to-head with the adventures of REMO WILLIAMS to see which of them is going to be SOLD OUT first - thanks Twilight Timers for your enthusiasm for these releases (EYE OF THE NEEDLE and MURPHY'S LAW are going gangbusters too!)

Son of a.... Good thing I have the first two on disc from Netflix and the others two are on Amazon streaming for $3-4. Gonna have to do some watching the next 2 days to see if I'd want to own any of them.

Oh, I agree in that I will likely need a 500 or less warning to pull any potential trigger. But I'd rather already know at that point whether I intend to buy or not, and if they're selling relatively well who knows when that time will actually come.

Another month at the earliest. Twilight Time announces two months worth of releases on the first or second Saturday (usually) of even numbered months. So the January & February 2017 releases will be announced most probably on October 8th. Of course, there's no telling whether either of the titles you're interested in will be announced for those months.

Interesting, wouldn't have picked those for super quick sellers. Wonder what the actual numbers are. John Carpenter's Vampires sold like 3,000 right away but is taking forever to sell the last 2,000, though, so early sales don't always mean immediate sell out.

I didn't really take that post by TT to mean they were in danger of selling out right away. Frankly, I think it was a bit of marketing to squeeze a few more panic buy purchases. I've seen them use that "going like gangbusters" quote on a few posts, even for titles that are still readily available months later.

Just a heads-up that Hal Ashby's fantastic THE LAST DETAIL is now SOLD OUT at the TT portal - however, the remaining stock is still available at http://www.screenarchives.com - don't dilly dally too long though!

American Buffalo has been reduced again to $9.95. Great price for a great title and you only have into 9/12 and then its gone for good!

Why is American Buffalo in this unique position? To have a limited time-frame before it could even sold all 3,000 units?

Because the studio that Twilight Time licensed it from, MGM, no longer owns the distribution rights, thus all copies must be sold and all remaining stock destroyed.

Unless SAE had the majority and TT only took a few hundred to sell directly (which seems unlikely), I wonder if this means an upcoming low quantity alert on this title too?

I ended up ordering Remo Williams which I was going to wait for. I'm interested in the numbers myself. It is unusual for them to post something like this unless they do see a potentially quick sell out.

Does anyone know how the interviews on the TT disc of Remo Williams compare to the hour long doc on the Arrow disc? I know each disc has a different commentary.
