Well they don't usually say such things and they put SOLD OUT on there in all caps, so I think they are definitely trying to give the impression they are going fast. I can't imagine them selling out in less than a month but crazier things have happened I suppose. I ordered Remo on day one anyway, I remember watching 9 to 5 on cable a few times as a kid but I don't think I need to own it.

Meh, definite weasel words. It's clear they just took a movie with an obvious female fan base, and one with an obvious male fanbase and used their little "battle of the sexes" in order to give their new releases a bit of a plug. These won't be selling out any time soon.

quick might mean they sold 1000, but I'm not taking any chance with Remo Williams it might sell out quicker than I think, 9 to 5 I don't really care about.

My copy of Mindwarp shipped today and is expected to arrive in my mailbox on Saturday (or Monday for all I know).

I wonder how that works, if TT get some sort of refund on the cost of the license? It seems hardly fair if you are effectively purchasing a 3 year window and only getting, say 1 year out of it. Say there were 2,000 copies left...why not sell them for $2 or something...any money would be better than destroying them

Well let's see if they have a 99 cent sale on American Buffalo come September 11th.

I'm surprised the scalpers haven't swooped in to get the remaining stock of American Buffalo. At $10 a pop it might be a good investment for them. Anyways, looks like Judgment at Nuremberg and First Men in the Moon are about to go.

Based on RalphoR's suggestion, I was curious about how much stock was actually remaining on American Buffalo and as a result, I found a funny thing. On SAE's site, American Buffalo is now one of the eligible titles for the 7 for $70 bundle deal. If you have that title in your cart with other bundle titles, it will automatically bundle American Buffalo with the other titles, raising the price on American Buffalo from $9.95 to $10.00. So, if say, you were only buying that one title, but many copies, the site would force you to pay an extra 5 cents per copy.

Just Curious, I am not a regular customer of TT, but I DID pre-order 9 to 5 the day it was made available.

How do they ship their blu rays and do they ever come early?

**UPDATED - NEW TITLES ADDED** IT’S A TWILIGHT TIME PACKAGE STEAL! Buy seven of any of the following Twilight Time titles for $70.00 and get a real deal. BELOVED INFIDEL, COVER GIRL, MINDWARP, PONY SOLDIER, THE DISAPPEARANCE, THE KREMLIN LETTER (DVD), THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN, THE RAINS OF RANCHIPUR, THE SOUND AND THE FURY, THE WAYWARD BUS, VIOLENT SATURDAY (DVD), and WOMAN OBSESSED, RAPTURE, ALAMO BAY, and THE ROOTS OF HEAVEN. This is a one-time “package price” of seven titles until they are gone. It’s okay to mix and match — just buy seven of one or one each of these titles. Definitely. Got it so long ago as a blind buy and am now totally in love with it. It's a wonderful film.

I ordered on pre-order day, too.

Every once in awhile, I'll get it the weekend before it's official street date.

But, "9 to 5" is still listed as Pending, so...

I just purchased Roots of Heaven from a seller on eBay. Man...

Good to see TT clearing stock this way though. Everyone should buy at least two copies of Rapture.

Jeez. You Rapture cheerleaders do realize that there is a region B release that some may argue is superior to the Twilight Time release that is usually half the price, right? That is likely part of the reason it hasn't sold many.

The Twilight Time release was out almost three years before the Eureka one and it still wasn't exactly flying off the shelves back then. However, even though some of us might be region free not everyone is so that will also be a factor for some people.

Just watched Mindwarp.

A really schlocky low budget mash-up of Total Recall and the Mad Max series with stuff that would anticipate The Matrix 6-7 years before that film's release as well as, ironically, Galaxy of Terror's entire "Master" subplot done better.

A bit slow at times, but serviceable for those who enjoy gory early 90s sci-fi junk like me.

As rdodolak stated, the TT version was out for years before the Arrow release (in fact, it's the earliest TT Blu-ray release that hasn't sold out). Plus, it has been $19.95 during all of the SAE yearly sales so price shouldn't have been an issue and yet many still seem to overlook it.

And we're "Rapture cheerleaders" because it is a tremendous film that deserves what praise it receives.
