I finally got around to watching it a few days ago and found it to be weak. With that said, since you're a fan of the genre, then it's probably worth it to hold out for a low price and check it out for yourself. If nothing else it has a couple of the strangest/funniest "hip" dancing scenes that I've ever seen in an Italian movie.

The 7 for $70 has been ongoing since March and these titles are pretty stale. I've been checking periodically to see if anything's been added and they haven't put anything new on there for a while.

That being said, it's good that you posted this to remind people about it.

Interesting. Was ther ever an LQA on Two Rode Together? I've had it for years but I'm curious if there are other under-the-radar sellouts on the way.

I just got another email from Screen Archives about the sale and it still lists Two for the Road in the $14.95 bracket but has SOLD OUT! listed underneath the picture. At this point I feel like they're just messing with us.

Twilight Time has officially announced a sellout of John Ford's Two Rode Together.

It was never on the low quantity alert list. It was part of the current 10 day sale, which TT has stated is doing very well.

Unfortunately, every so often a title sneaks in and disappears without warning, and this is one of them. This also happened a couple of years ago with Steel Magnolias (which sold out without a sale). There was also another title in a past sale that sold out without making it on the list, but I can't recall which one.

As for known low quantities, please check the first post of this thread. I keep the list as evergreen as I can regarding dwindling titles, but sometimes one slips past if there is no warning. I guess the best advice is that during sales don't sit on a title if you want it. Units frequently move quickly and TT has stated they often do not get updates until the sale is over.

You do a great job, oildude.

You might want to note the following, as they were all listed as "Low Quantity" on the sale email, though they don't specify exactly how low.

Appassionata
La Bambola Di Satana
The Fabulous Baker Boys
Funny Lady
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (Encore)
To Sir, With Love

Thanks. I have thought about adding these, but without specific numbers I have held off. I will have to check if any of these are also at the Twilight Time website, because if they are, then I won't add them to the LQA list in the first post, since "running low" means only at SAE. However, if they only have stock at SAE, I will add them later today with a "running low - no numbers available" tag.

Thanks, I just ordered The Fortune and Funny Lady, just to be safe.

All of these except one are available at the Twilight Time website in unknown quantities. The only one not available on the TT site is Funny Lady, so I will add that one to the LQA with a note about running low, exact number unknown.

If memory serves me correctly, Brannigan (1975) snuck up and sold out without an official LSA, though I think there was a brief warning posted here gleaned from using the cart trick. A recent screening of Cheyenne Autumn (1964) taught me that even John Ford is capable of making a really terrible film, but Brannigan seems to have supporters here so I'm holding out hope it has rewatch value (unlike C.A.)
Also, thank you for the maintenance as well. I know I often refer to the OOP and Low Stock list.

Last I heard they weren't anymore but I hope to God they are in the horrible chance it ends up going on Sony's awful Choice Collection BD-Rs. Was this an update that you just recently heard about?

I thought BRANNIGAN was a really fun movie and far better than Wayne's other cop drama MCQ.......

Yes, It's tough watching Duke getting in and out of that Firebird. Plus, the title makes me think-"McQueen"

I just watched last week and it's great. Wonderful and unforced early/mid eighties indie before Tarantino & Jarmusch made it cliche.

Not only a good first movie with great cinematography, a real template for subsequent movies about The Troubles.

Wish there were some extras on this release.

I doubt that Fincher would approve a BD-R. Either Sony will release it themselves (as they should) or they'll pass it off to Criterion.

The rumor was Twilight Time was waiting on a new 4k scan of Panic Room to be completed. Whether they actually have the movie or not, I am sure once that scan is done it will be released by Sony or some label, hopefully on UHD.
