It appears MAN HUNT has also sold out. There were about 35 copies at SAE around an hour ago and now they're gone.

Twilight Time must still be swamped with orders from this sale. My order from 3 weeks ago still hasn't been filled. I'll have to shoot them an email on Friday if I don't hear from them.

Same here. I sent an email to them this morning trying to get an update but haven't heard back yet.

Soooo...

Yet another release ripe for TT, with a gorgeous score begging to be isolated, a beautiful overseas transfer ready to be used if no new master is struck, and no real history of extensive extras needing legal wrangling. Just add the 2 trailers and a commentary with Julie Kirgo and they've got a bonafide contender!

Then again, with Sony's lunacy lately, they'll probably just have it as part of their Choice Series like Little Women, which ALSO would have made a perfect TT contender...

Sigh.

I received one too. I don't mind sending it back, but they should compensate us for the return in the form of a coupon or discount. I mean, they charge us for handling (time, packaging, etc.).

On the other side of things, my order is being held up because TT is waiting for some stock to be returned before they can fulfill my order. I think 2 of the titles I ordered have gone out of stock since I placed my order, so I have to trust that people are honest enough to return their order or I (and others) might not receive everything we ordered. I understand that this isn't TT's fault. Stuff happens ... all the time.

Me too, though I don't have either of the duplicate packages left, just normal reaction to throw the box away after getting it. I've contacted TT on what I should do regarding a return on whether I should attach the return label over a package I already have or to buy a new package.

A little bit of pain in the rear end for my end.

Sigh.

"The Age of Innocence" has allegedly had a 4K restoration done on it since those overseas releases, and TT previously told me they don't have it, and the fact that it is so late arriving stateside gives me the impression that it will most likely be a Criterion release at some point.

But everyone knows you wait till a ripe old age for Criterion titles sometimes...

Sigh.

Next year will be 25 years so perhaps Sony may release it themselves along with a UHD release. Scorsese will probably not stand for it as BDr title. He probably has nothing against TT, but like Beatty (Shampoo) and Fincher (Panic Room) would probably prefer a mainstream release and not a limited edition.

No question about it. If they don't speak up. I would if I was in your shoes. If they offered free shipping, but nope, they offer exaggerated shipping charges that just get crazier the more money you throw at them.

Learn to put items in a USPS supplied (for free) priority mail box that is then put into a Flat Rate envelope TT. Do your customers a favor.

And offer real media mail shipping rates.

This is common during sales like this. Neither TT or SAE are big operations. During a SAE sale in November 2015, I placed an order Nov. 20 and didn't receive a shipping email until Dec. 21.

TT announced that on their Facebook page around noontime today, so it's official.

On edit: By the way, The Only Game in Town appears to have fewer than 30 copies now at SAE (there are none at TT).

Nuts. Had both of these titles in my cart but I cut them for 'next time'.

Oh well, ordered the Signal 1 release of Man Hunt and hopefully something comes down the pipeline for Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison. I watched it a year ago and wasn't too impressed (it was perfectly fine, but not something I needed asap).

Nice to see that these two are popular.

TT orders are fulfilled by the Technicolor warehouse.
