Nice to see a couple of featurettes listed on the CRIMSON KIMONO artwork.

Also nice to see the listing of the TV pilot on the STATE FAIR artwork.

Oddly enough I received a dup order email from them yesterday. Telling me they were going to charge me if I didnt return the discs that I dont even know if I received yet. Im away at school in nyc for another three weeks and have all my mail shipped to my parents house.

I will of course return them if I did receive a doube shipment but to get an email out the blue acting like I stole something is a little crazy. Plus I always use Paypal so I dont see how they could charge me. But why would they assume I want to steal from them. I think their tone could have been a bit nicer.

The Only Game in Town is now officially SOLD OUT.

Congratulations to fans of Liz and Warren who picked this up.

Now all of you who made this a sell out before Rapture and do not own that fine John Guillermin masterpiece need to correct your oversight and make another order.

I must have very bad taste because "Rapture" and "Bonjour Tristesse" are my 2 favorite TT blu-rays and they both seem to be taking forever to sell out!

In fact, next week's pre-orders will only be available for purchase at SAE while we figure out what to do with the fulfillment problems at the TT site. Sorry for the inconvenience.
With the accusations that TT is suggesting that they are "threatening" to charge customers for things they didn't order, you guys might want to clear that up. Sounds like your Technicolor vendor should be on the hook for all of that.

What kind of phone do you have that won't work with JPEGs? The standard image file format. Let me guess, a piece of crap proprietary apple product? Am I right?

Remember, these are limited edition releases and if the duplicate shipments aren't returned then another customer, or another member of our community, may not receive their order. Bottom line, it would be morally wrong not to return the duplicate shipment after the shipper provided a postage paid return shipping label.
If this happened to me I'd return it. But if TT isn't sending the customer a postage pre-paid box, then quite frankly it is on them. Sending someone an email and requiring the customer to print isn't always reasonable.

And yes, it is unsolicited merchandise. Period.

Taking a little effort to return it is the right thing to do, but don't blame the customer if they don't have easy access to printing, or depending on the order size the effort it takes to go to the post office.

The Only Game In Town was a last minute purchase, along with The Detective, From the Terrace, and Inferno 3D. I'm not a Beatty fan but Cleopatra always beckons me. Owl is to blame for my inability to wait on Inferno. I deny responsibility. Did you hear that AMEX?

You sold me on Rapture last time around. For those that haven't taken the plunge, stop delaying - it's a beautiful and very understated gem.

My duplicate order went back yesterday if anyone is waiting on Titus or Anastasia.

Exactly. Not everyone has shipping materials on hand and printing capability at home, and the sheer audacity of the tone in these alleged emails--which is essentially "here's a label link for the return, get this sh*t done, now"--is what is so surprising to me. For anyone that has received duplicate orders that wants do the right thing and return discs but doesn't have the printing and shipping materials on hand to do so, you are NOT obligated to go out of your way and spend money out your own pocket to cover their screw up. If you threw away the original shipping package, demand they send you a prepaid shipping package.

Just because a guy collects blu-rays doesn’t mean he can’t start some sh*t.

I understand about the mistake, however I really didn't like the tone of the threatening email I received. This was their mistake and I don't like being bullied.

I believe that due to this fiasco, I will avoid using TT website again. I'll go through SAE from now on.

Lesson learned.

Why would you need a pre-paid box when you should have the packaging (box) they were originally shipped in, no? And if they were shipped by the USPS and the package hasn't been opened, the USPS will return them at no cost to you if you write "return to sender" on the package.

Yes, I can see how it could be too much effort to go to the post office especially given how many people have their personal packages shipped to their work location these days. However, didn't someone mention the return label was for UPS? Either way, you can schedule a free pickup online for either service.

Default Updated twilight time movies list

I notice on the main page that most titles that have low quantity their numbers don't get updated . Only titles that have 50 or less have been .
Can whomever updates the list do so with the other titles as well and add to the list other titles if they are getting low ?

I ask as I would like to have a greater chance at buying some of before they get sold out . Some I may get now but I would have to save for others .
Updating the entire list would give me a heads up to possibly buy before I lost the opportunity .

By the way I would love to see the rare animated film bebe's kids on blu ray via twilight time

Thank You

There's no way to know how many are left unless TT tells us. The only exception is when titles get below 50 copies at SAE, when the "cart trick" can be used to approximate the number of copies left.

I extremely lucked out when I happened to find out that The Driver had hit less than 50 copies remaining and I finally decided to order it after 10 minutes of making my decision due to being a blind buy and ended up buying it and it sold out 20 minutes later. Ended up being one of the best blind buys I've ever done too.

depending on the way it was shipped it could be mutilated upon opening, and expect the recipient to have tape to seal said package. The point is the person doing the returning should have no expectations placed upon them outside of giving it to the most convenient carrier to them and on their own time.

Return to sender provides zero tracking. If TT is making threats to charge you can bet your a$$ any smart person would send on TT dime that requires proof of return attempt.

They charge above market shipping presumably because shipping costs time and money, when that is your businesses model, expect the same treatment an value placed on this when the tables are turned and even more so since the recipient did not initiate the transaction nor are they expected to be in the shipping and distribution business.

With USPS, yes.
UPS: last I checked they charge for home pickups of Ground Shipping Return labels. Unlike USPS who swings by 6 days a week, UPS would be going out of their way to pick up your package unless you already happen to have one scheduled for delivery.

So most of us have to drive to the UPS store & drop off packages ourselves, unless we want to pay for a UPS home Pickup.

Android. I can view the jpeg just fine but I don't see any option to print.

I found a work around for my PC anyway. I am using my TV as a monitor and when I updated Windows 10 I was getting an Invalid Format when trying to view my PC through my TV. I plugged the PC into my XBox and now it will display on my TV, but only through my Xbox. I never had a problem before the update.

So if we keep the extra titles we got do you think we will be charged the sale price or will they charge us regular?

That would be me. Almost 4 weeks ago I placed an order for a handful of blus that were close to being sold out and still haven't received my order. When I contacted them here's the reply I got:

Quote:
"Hi _____!

The situation is this...

Technicolor screwed up and shipped duplicate orders to dozens of customers.

This was something completely out of our control.

The warehouse is sending return shipping labels to those customers.

It is that inventory we are awaiting back before we can fill orders.

You are free to wait till the inventory comes back, or, we would be happy to assist with canceling your order.

My utmost apologies for this occurrence. It is something we did not expect.

Twilight Time Movies Support"
So my potential order fulfillment sits in the hands of someone being kind enough to return wrongly shipped items. This whole situation is a be mess and totally sucks, but it is what it is. I just hope people are honest enough to return the extra stock so TT can fulfill any outstanding orders.

I'm sure I'm not the only one still waiting for blus.

FWIW ... my final haul for this sale:

My definites going into the sale:
9 to 5 (good memories of this one ... funny cast)
The Best of Everything (recently attended a film festival where this was fondly referred to ... need to see it for myself)
Garden of Evil (great reviews)
Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte (an old childhood favorite that scared me as a kid)
Titus (looks interesting and great price)

Decisions made during the sale:
April Love (due greatly to Debbie Reynolds' recent passing and the included audio commentary. Edit: Hold it, I screwed that up ... Debbie Reynolds??? ... just why *did* I buy this and what was I thinking? :-/ )
Julia (good reviews on the acting performances)

"What the heck" decisions made today:
Black Widow (liked the trailer)
Conrack (decent reviews and great price)
