Return to sender provides zero tracking. If TT is making threats to charge you can bet your a$$ any smart person would send on TT dime that requires proof of return attempt.

They charge above market shipping presumably because shipping costs time and money, when that is your businesses model, expect the same treatment an value placed on this when the tables are turned and even more so since the recipient did not initiate the transaction nor are they expected to be in the shipping and distribution business.
If the package arrived with a tracking number, return tracking should be available for "return to sender" packages assuming the package is scanned. Note that I said should, but that applies to any package with tracking; if it doesn't get scanned there is no tracking update and there is never a guarantee someone will scan the package. Every package I've received, even with the most basic shipping option, from orders placed through the TT web site had a tracking number.

However, Technicolor emailed return labels, as they should, so that should be a moot issue. If you don't have a printer, ask Technicolor to have a label mailed to you or ask to have UPS pick up the package and bring a UPS label with them since that is an option.

Neither here nor there, it will always take some level of effort on the customer's (receiver's) end to return a package. There is no way around that and there will always be excuses why a recipient can't return a package.

I found a work around for my PC anyway. I am using my TV as a monitor and when I updated Windows 10 I was getting an Invalid Format when trying to view my PC through my TV. I plugged the PC into my XBox and now it will display on my TV, but only through my Xbox. I never had a problem before the update.
This may help, icy hot.

Just watched The Bridge at Remagen...what a treat. The movie is a MUST for those who enjoy WW2 movies and the Twillight Time release boasts a great transfer.

Another top notch release from the label...HIGHLY recommended!

Not that anyone is aware of. But in March they had a sale on MGM licenced titles, in June they had a sale on Fox licenced titles. How much you want to bet that they'll have a Sony sale some time around September? If they do, Mad Magician is a fairly recent release so don't expect it to be too cheap. Maybe $19.95?

Don;t have link directly to the Facebook posts, but I'm they're searchable
Thanks for the direct link; I'll see if I have more luck finding the direct post unless the discussion took place through a FB message.

Alright, found the discussion and here is a history of some of the Panic Room comments:

We did, but it maybe a title we trade back to Sony as really and truly they should do it themselves.

we appreciate your comments, but this is a decision that will be taken out of our hands---Mr Fincher is involved, and he will likely request that Sony do as much as possible for the title -- we can only cross our fingers and hope for the best!

Just got an e mail from Twilight Time.

So after receiving my TT BDs the very next day after shipping (due to Technicolor being only 30 miles away here ), that is now a thing of the past !?!?

Going with a new shipper. Fun while it lasted.

Also, who prefers Media Mail to First Class ? Media Mail travels the country for 10 days, First Class gets delivered to you, the buyer.

Can't be cost, that'd just be ignorant. To spend $30.00 a pop for a BD, then whine about pennies to ship.

Either way, those Media Mail lovers will get their wish in August.

Doesn't say :

" We're Moving Our Warehouse
Mike, some of you have been impacted by recent technical and logistical issues caused by our current fulfillment warehouse. As a result of these issues and a continued decline in customer service, we have made the difficult decision to use a different company to ship our orders going forward.

In order to prepare for our move, starting tomorrow, July 5th all existing catalogue (non pre-order) titles will be temporarily removed from sale at TwilightTimeMovies.com. Orders currently pending or placed prior to this time will still ship from Technicolor while we begin to move our product.

After our inventory has been moved, all products will once again be available for sale on the site and will be shipped from our new warehouse. We are estimating the move will take just under two weeks, resulting in the store fully re-opening during the 3rd week of July when pre-order titles start shipping.

In addition to improved order processing and quality, we are pleased to announce that our new warehouse will offer USPS Media Mail shipping as many of you have requested starting in August. "

Just received the email as well and noticed it also stated the following further below:

Quote:
July Pre-Orders Begin Tomorrow at 4PM EST

Despite our pending move to a new warehouse, we will still be accepting pre-orders on the TwilightTimeMovies website for July titles. These orders will be fulfilled by our new warehouse once they are manufactured.

At $5-8 difference in my usual packages, I'll take MM. My last SAE package was $12 or 14 cheaper and arrived 2 days after shipping. Of course with SAE actual packaging, even if it was 7 days I;d be OK with it.

From other retailers I have never had a Media Mail taking more than 4-5 days even from 3000 mi cross country as long as it's True Media Mail and not all those other fake MM -- Surepost, SmartPost, UPS-MI, Parcel-select, OSM that often get lumped under the MM umbrella
I never get more than 3, so my orders are never that large.

When a Media Mail shipment arrives in less than 8 days, I'm shocked.

I wouldn't consider those companies "fake Media Mail," and again, only an idiot would. Media Mail refers to the USPS, not an independent shipping company that plays the intermediary.

Correction:

Coleen Gray has a minor uncredited role in the 1945 version of State Fair, not in the 1962 version that is going up for sale today.

My apologies to all.

I wouldn't want to post misinformation or "alternative facts" that compel people to buy a certain title. I figured that I'd better correct this before the pre-orders go live.

I just pre-ordered...

The Crimson Kimono
State Fair
Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn

A little late today, because I was stuck in a work conference. I was worried that State Fair might sell out before I had a chance to pre-order, because I know how much you people love your 1960s musicals. Thankfully, I made it just in time. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if I grabbed the last one.
