I hear tell this bit of swag was going to be the booklet cover, but Twilight Time brought a spring upon her cable and switched her about. Shiver me timbers, tis true, lads. The previous art will now be decoratin' the inside book.

Anyone been filling out reviews of recent purchases? I've received two emails now saying they will give me $2 off a future purchase for leaving a review. I'm wondering if you can stack the codes to use on one movie/order?

I have everything I really want here. If there was one title that was really calling to me, I'd throw in Dogs of War and Violent Saturday, but I can't quite convince myself to pull the trigger on just those two.

Hopefully, they'll do another sale with more recent titles soon.

I might blind buy Resurrected as it's the only one I haven't seen and made a buy/not buy decision on yet, and it's near impossible to find streaming or even locally at a store in LA.

Oh, worth mentioning to all fellow Canucks; S.A. will not honour lost or stolen shipments unless you select one of their tracking options. $25 U.S. for cheapest or $45 for more expensive. Can't recall what they referred to the methods as.
That ($25), plus dollar xchng plus shipping was approx $180 Cdn for 10 titles.
Still a good deal for TT but you've been forewarned, heh.

edit: I believe tracking option is % of total, not set at $25 or $45. Mine cost that based on total of $100. Sorry about that, was into the wee hours.

...was really torn about The Dogs of War since reviews are kind of all over the place, but I figured a rare Walken lead performance as a mercenary, Frederick "Day of the Jackal" Forsyth novel and legendary Jack Cardiff cinematography + two cuts was enough to justify a $10 Blu-ray of a movie that will probably never see another release again.

Only reason I did not grab "Dogs" is because I already had it. Another Walken goodie to pick up in the same vein is "McBain".

I saw "Dogs" in the theatre on initial release and had already read the Forsyth novel so easily fell in love with the flik. I've had the dvd since release in 2001 so when I saw TT releasing it on Blu, it was an instant purchase regardless of the steep cost. Walken chews up the script and dominates every scene he is in but excellent support from Tom Berenger as well (heh, the entire cast is good!).
When I consider the pics you've identified as purchased, I'm confidant you will love it.

What about KISS OF DEATH (1995), with David Caruso and Nicolas Cage? That one was announced for BD years ago but the release was cancelled. Since TT is in with Fox, that would be a great release... and the HD master from back then probably still exists, so why not?

Good movie. It's a shame that no one went to see it.
