From director Yoji Yamada (The Twilight Samurai, The Hidden Blade, The Little House, and many more). All of his films I have seen are excellent. Really looking forward to a Yamada I haven't seen yet. One of my favorite directors.

I was reading about Carol Reed's The Running Man from 1963, which doesn't seem to have had any home video release in the US or the UK. Reed is one of my favourite directors, but I have never seen this film.

According to IMDb, it was a Columbia picture. Am I right in remembering that TT only put out Columbia titles on BD that had a previous DVD release?

Would really like to see this one. Great cast, and interesting premise. Plus, CinemaScope!

I brought up this film on another Twilight Time message board. Someone did say that it has aired in HD on TCM recently. It seems perfect for Twilight Time and I would think they would consider it. I'm pretty sure Rapture, High Time, The Sound and the Fury and The Wayward Bus never had a home video release before Twilight Time released them. But those were Fox.

Thanks. It's listed in the TCM database, but nothing comes up searching the schedule.

I've never seen the film and have wondered why it has been "buried" by Sony. It has not even had a 'Choice Collection' DV-r release. All I could think is there is some kind of rights issue holding it up.

I ordered a few things on screenarchives but my order has been saying " pre shipment
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item" since monday. Has it been shipped and my tracking has just not updated yet or has it not been sent yet?

Heads up, folks. Twilight Time has announced that MISSISSIPPI BURNING and U-TURN are both down to fewer than 100 copies each.

Anyone pick up Play Dirty and watch it yet?

I've never seen it, but was reading about it recently and intend to get it ASAP. Just wondering how it looks as there is no review up here, or on Beaver.

This doesn't make any sense. The first cover art was sooooooo much better. This new one with him on the cover looks like something a 7th grader put together.

That's basically just the old MGM DVD cover. I wonder why it matters so much.
