Since every time there is a sale, dozens of people post their lists of what they bought, there is clearly some interest in that topic. I don't really see any serious comparison between that and two people having an extended conversation about how to price things on ebay.

Can you shed any real light on the current issues other than generalities -- i understand if you can't, but there's so much invisible information, rumor, speculation based on 3 partial facts that's it's impossible to know what's true and what's not?
Can you tell us how many manufacturing plants are left in NA for production now. I have found it nearly impossible to find straight forward answers --though that might be intentional and considered trade secrets.

I've read the Cinram/Olyphant finally shut completely and that the last US Sony DADC plant has either stopped producing discs or been transferred to TC ownership. I've read conflicting reports that the Olyphant plant was completely shut down after Cinram takeover, or it been at very light capacity until earlier this year and completely stopped lately, or even that it was mainly being used for 4KUHD production and is now shut down.

How many TC plants are active now other than the main Mexico plant (or are there multiple Mexico active plants)

Do you know what % of actual max capacity is being used now -- how much headroom is there left to ramp up further or are they pretty much over capacity leading to all teh current problems for Warner and Sony and TT?

That's a lot of questions, Hariseldon - and I don't think we can answer much with any specificity - we'd been with Cinram since the beginning and found them relatively easy to deal with given that we were a small account. However, when Technicolor bought them out things went haywire - initially forcing all the manufacturing to be done in Mexico - we had been proud of the fact that previously all our manufacturing was in the USA - now, recently, they forced everybody out of Mexico and back to the US, which on the surface sounds great, but as you say with fewer plants now - everything has slowed desperately in the last two months and clearly Technicolor lacks the facilities to match the current demand, so, everyone's lead times have been lengthened and releases delayed. This will sort itself out hopefully, but the changing face of this business - a glut on the market with rapidly diminishing sales, fewer licensing opportunities, and allied with a decreased number of manufacturing options is leading to a crisis - the answer to which is unclear at the moment.

Definitely picking up at least 2 titles from this current sale. Not 100 % sure other than Beneath the 12 Mile Reef (I'm a sucker for Bernard Herrmann scored films, even if they aren't that great).
