Arrow Academy recently released a Region A friendly release of "Born Yesterday"

Hopefully this release will include the vintage behind the scenes featurette that wasn't included on the UK Blu:

Ann-Margret as the lady with a bad reputation is enough for me to pick this up on sale. None of these are day one for me but I might get them all at some point.

My bad.... I accidentally obliterated the March release titles on the first page of this thread when I moved the January pre-order listings down to the new 2019 schedule.

Funny thing ....I looked at the first page yesterday and thought "something looks off" but then got distracted and quit before figuring out what was wrong.

Thanks for the notice. I have now replaced the March listing.

I will add the April releases after TT makes their official announcement (or 24 hours if TT is delayed). I don't do it prior to that because it's my way of respecting the Home Theater Forum's exclusive announcement window for first notification of the new upcoming TT titles. They have had this arrangement with TT for years.

After Indicator announced The Snake Pit, I figured that it wouldn't be long before TT did as well.

And Stagecoach is now the fifth (of nine) titles that TT released on DVD back in their early days to make the upgrade to Blu.

The others that made it:

The Egyptian (which came out on both formats simultaneously)
Fate Is the Hunter
Violent Saturday
My Cousin Rachel

Yet to be upgraded:

The Kremlin Letter
Woman Obsessed
The Flim-Flam Man
The Left Hand of God

Hopefully they finish off that list. I'd love to pick up The Flim-Flam Man and The Kremlin Letter.

For those who are region free, "The Left Hand of God" was recently released in Germany. No idea the quality of it.

If I'm being honest, I have never understood this. You post the new titles in the thread, so what's the difference between posting them in the body of the thread and at the beginning of the thread? The information is the same, and you're sharing it regardless. Also, there's no such thing as a true "exclusivity window" for information on a free website. Once it's out there, it's out there. Whether it gets shared 24 seconds, 24 minutes, or 24 hours later on sites such as this one doesn't matter. As the OP of the thread, it's obviously your prerogative to add items when you see fit; I just have never understood the voluntary 24-hour delay only for the OP (but not for the thread itself).

Melvin and Howard is one of those movies where the old VHS release will always be unique. It's open matte, so it has full frontal nudity from Mary Steenburgen in the bar scene, but you lose that part of the shot in the widescreen upgrade to DVD and presumably blu-ray.

Same thing happens in Swing Shift! the full frame version you can clearly see Ed Harris below the waist when he sits down in a chair after taking a shower with a towel around him

In the widescreen DVD the shot is matted

I just preordered Talk Radio! I haven’t seen it in probably 10 years, which was my first time viewing it. I’ve been patiently waiting for its Blu- ray release!

Twilight Time always kills it with releases. I own Mysterious Island, Hound of The Baskervilles. Very sorry to hear Nick Redman one of the cofounders passed away. I got to work with him a few times, so intelligent and well spoken.
