This one had gotten away from me too. But, I found a brand new copy online, being sold as used, for about $15 about a week before lockdown went into place. Couldn’t believe it!

So wanted to get Geronimo had it on my cart and bam out of stock. That hurts. Really enjoyed Children of Huang Shi, picked up Sunshine and Keys for my mother (late mothers day present) and Year of The Comet is a total blind buy all I know is that it has Penelope Ann Miller from Kindergarten Cop so whatever blind buy ahoy for that one. Damn on Geronimo tho...

Like many others I appreciated Twilight Time while having issues with their pricing. But I realize it wasn't necessarily that they they were overpriced, but perhaps that they were just over priced for my budget. The people who put them out clearly loved film.
My appreciation for being able to get so much of Woody Allen's output on bluray from Twilight Time is incalculable. In fact I'm just thinking now of the final scene in Stardust Memories after the screening is over and Woody comes back into the theater to retrieve his glasses, leaves and then the house lights fade out The End. Thanks guys. |

Stocked up the Woody Allen titles I didn't have (and on the same weekend I splurged on that BFI boxed set sale, too). I'm just concerned that Allen's films are going to be MIA on disc after this. But there are still some titles I need that Arrow has. (Are Arrow's individual titles limited, I wonder?) Looks like I'm out of luck on Crimes and Misdemeanors but I do think that one has a better chance of being licensed out to somebody than, like, Alice.

The TT has an upper hand since Eureka forgoed the stereo track for “Hell and High Water” and opted for a mono mix.

Holy smokes I missed a lot today. Just now seeing all this. I was late to the TT party as I only discovered them a couple of years ago and already had missed out on many great releases. That being said, I just grabbed 14 more titles from my wishlist. I would have ordered more, but you folks picked it apart pretty good already. No worries and it is what it is. All of the ones I missed out on today are still available at SAE so if they do price match, I have them in my cart and am ready to go. Such sad news, but thankful for what they were able to accomplish in 10 years.

I placed a large order with pretty much everything that I wanted or had an interest in. I figure, I can always get my money back if I don't like something. I did leave our Husbands and Wives thinking that it was included in the Arrow Woody Allen sets. There are about 8 titles only at SAE that I want, but I am waiting to see what they will do with their pricing. The only other titles left at that I might want are Bandelero for the commentary if it dropped lower as I have the German release.
Any opinions on the following: (I just saw these when looking through titles, but know little about them) A Man Called Peter Blue Denim Hello, Frisco, Hello The Yellow Hankerchief Adventures of Hajji Baba The Other Side of Midnight Appassionata Sunshine As others are posting the same, my titles that got away are Bye Bye Birdie, Our Man Flint, and The Egyptian. They sold out before I was collecting TT titles. I am hoping for a MOD release of BBB, and I may have to import the other 2. My order: [Show spoiler] Yes, that was the Eureka set, not the Indicator. I was thinking of the Ford Indicator set and mistakenly said Indicator. Last edited by drb124; 05-11-2020 at 04:06 AM. |

A lot of people are going in on Wild Bill; I wasn't going to do it, but I'm strongly considering it for my Hill collection.

![]() Somehow in my order a couple hours ago I missed TALK RADIO that I really wanted, so I just went back and picked that up along with BAREFOOT CONTESSA! Watching CUTTER'S WAY on AmazonPrime right now to figure out what I'm missing! |

Very disappointing news, I loved this label. Bought many BD's over the years and paid Criterion level prices. I have most of what I need from them but there are some titles they have still I will likely buy if available as the price is to good to pass up. I was looking for Geronimo but it's sold out but there is a German BD import out there. That is one TT title I snoozed on and a few others.
We still have many boutique labels working and if this means they get a few more titles good. RIP Twilight Time and thanks for the great BD's over the years. Most memorable releases Fright Night, As Good As It Gets, Sleepless in Seattle to name a few. |

I had a lot of titles that I was going to wait on, but then I checked here and saw that there was the $500 discount, so I just figured with the shipping savings plus the 10%, I would just go ahead and get just about all I wanted. I haven’t bought many titles in the past few sales because none I wanted were at a price that I was comfortable paying. So with the end in sight, I don’t want to miss out if I can help it. |

Underworld, U.S.A. and Rollerball sold out during my checkout process. Managed to get the 23 other titles in my cart. I only had a select few Twilight Time titles before this, mostly because they were so expensive per title and often had comparable import releases. However, they have a lot of exclusive titles still and I'll miss having the option of their label. Between TT, Lionsgate, Kino going OOP sales, and the Fox titles, I feel like we've seen more titles go out of print than get released these past few months.
