The price on SAE screenarchives is higher $14.95 vs $11.95 ? Shipping cost seems the same. I think...

Maybe I should buy "Inserts" on SAE.

Any other really TOP title that I should buy on SAE that is NOT on TT site? Maybe Gloria and The Boston Strangler?

sorry for the questions on suggestions, mostly are blind purchases.

I'd suggest picking up all three.

Funny. My SAE order -- which I made Monday afternoon, after two TT orders Sunday night -- just shipped. But TT hasn't.

Prices are indeed a little higher at SAE; shipping seems slightly higher to me even though both use the same standard shipping (USPS First-Class or Priority Mail depending on weight) and SAE (Virginia) is closer to me in Arkansas than TT (Washington State).

Not really surprising; TT got hammered with orders before SAE did. Besides, SAE's warehouse is in a rural part of Virginia so they may be less concerned with COVID-19 than TT in Washington State (haven't looked up exactly where yet but WA was an early hotbed).

Edit: TT's contact address is apparently a UPS Store mailbox in Auburn, WA, east of Tacoma. Not sure where the warehouse is exactly, but the area is almost certainly more urban than SAE in Linden, VA.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they change their mind about closing up shop with the amount of obscure titles selling out.

Why would they change their mind? TT was never supposed to last forever. There aren't any new source of films when these titles sell out.

TT's warehouse is somewhere in Texas. Where I can't exactly remember off the top of my head.

Most likely next to sell out at SAE and gone for good via both sites are

Peyton Place
Flaming Star
Cutters Way
Eye of the Needle
Theatre of Blood

I posted this earlier today now at SAE

Peyton Place 40 units remain
Eye of the Needle 42 units remain

then both are sold out

The other 3 I mentioned above are really , really low as well but more than 50 but not by much

damn! I live literally across a bridge from Tacoma... hoping I get my order soon... and I'm literally kicking myself from ordering from Screen Archives all these years when TWILIGHT TIME was in my back yard... never knew!!

Addison, a Dallas suburb, is even more urban than Auburn. Probably a third party warehousing company.

My order was shipped from Carrollton which is right next to Addison. Both are suburbs located just north of the Dallas city limits.

By the way, guess what I recorded last week when it played on TCM? A Modern Hero! I haven't had time to watch it yet, but I'm a fan of both Richard Barthelmess and Marjorie Rambeau, so I know I'm going to enjoy it.

Not trying to re post the same stuff Flaming Star sold out

Because new information relates to these posts

Peyton Place = 37 units remain
Eye of the Needle = 42 units remain
Theatre of Blood = 49 units remain

also Cutters way & Zelig are over 50 but not by much all 5 others will also sell out very soon if not soon tonight via SAE

No, they're liquidating their inventory as much as possible. The more movies are sold the better, and whatever inventory is left over, it'll be transferred over to SAE.

Quite strange that SAE didn't mention in their newsletter from today that they were low on stock of Strange Invaders. Maybe just a temporary thing?

Funny? TT sold 40000 discs in 36 hrs. SAE probably sold 400
I'd be shocked if that didn't happen

Just a heads-up:

There's some weirdness going on at TTM. The "sale" section is back up to 9 pages (from 6). Several titles that sold out there over the last few days are listed again, like Anne of the Thousand Days and Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. However, there's no "Add to Cart" button underneath the images, so don't be fooled that they have some of these back in stock.

It occurred to me to wonder if there's an office pool at TTM for which title will be the last to sell out -- at TTM, if there's any stock left to turn over to SAE on July 1st.

Whoops! Made a cart with another 10 for 115 for the hell of it and figured I'd think about it but then I pressed place order by accident instead of "next step", so I guess perhaps that was meant to be.
